I purchased this for my brother. He has eye problem. The device enables him to watch his cell phone video contents on TV. He loved it so much so he bought another one for his master bed room.

Love this little product, don't know how we didn't ever get one earlier. Our bedroom TV isn't a smart TV and the blu ray player was giving us issues streaming. This fixed all of those issues.

My tv was not SMART so I bought this to send video from my iphone to me tv over the network. I did have to install some 3rd part apps to get it to work properly. I would also recommend a good quality router so you can stream from a farther distance

Probably the best TV related purchase I have made. Super easy to setup and works without any issues.

We use our Chromecast on a secondary monitor in the house usually when our kids are ill, so they can watch Netflix or other shows. You can't use Amazon Prime video unless you 'cast' from a computer (we have a laptop that we can put in the room). Our household is primarily an Apple iPhone household, so the compatibility is ok, though likely not as good as it would be with Android phones. You can cast from various apps (useful to cast ESPN, etc when the other TV is in use by the kids). For the price, it's a good deal.

This is a nice device for casting your android phone, similar to Amazon Fire TV. I got this one during Black Friday sale but regularly it still gives you a lot for your buck.

Everything I like I can stream on this. It's compact, looks good and easy to use. Definitely recommend it!

Love my Chromecast! It works as advertised and is a great addition to the house. My only grip is the wifi setup. It took a few tries and some research as it has trouble connecting to my network but I was able to find a workaround.

Love having casting ability from the computer. Netflix, Amazon, etc. Works terrific. This is one of two in the house, as price makes it possible to have more than one for ease of convenience.

I have all things Apple (iPhones, iPad, Mac) and I previously was using an Apple TV 2nd gen. However, the Apple TV started having tech issues (not sure the exact cause) so I decided to buy this Chromecast because this was $30 vs $130 for the new Apple TV. It doesn't have the convenience of the Apple TV (remote, apps, airplay) but it does enough to make it a great product - especially for the price. I can definitely recommend this to anyone.

The new Chromecast is noticeably better than the previous one. I had several of the first generation and they were fantastic. This one somehow found ways to improve. It's nothing different in the ways you use it but it is noticeably faster and it seems to have a better connection. When I moved, one of my older Chromecasts was having trouble reaching the WiFi consistently. Ever since replacing it with a new one it's been smooth sailing.

While this device isn't essential by any means it is definitely a Time saver and a blast to use. I mainly use it in my room on my TV. I use my Xbox for streaming Hulu and Netflix but I find myself browsing Reddit or YouTube on my phone. And when a video comes up that I wanna get more into I cast it to my TV for the larger screen and more emersive experience. It's quick and hasn't failed me yet! Pretty cool especially for the price.

Does what it is intended for. i have been casting from my laptop as well as mobile and casts without any issues except occasional buffering. but, overall good and satisfied.

This is great as long as you have something to mirror from. Unlike other streaming devices, this one needs another device to draw video from. The upside is I can tell the Google Home to play something on Netflix and it does it!

I really like how easy it is to watch my hulu and other apps. The quality is good.

Chromecast is an excellent streaming device and this one is even better than the first version. It handles higher frame rates and the antennas are much better to get the best transfer speeds.
