The been amazing, it has allowed me to keep a great working TV and turn it into a smart TV is easily controlled by my phone. Even got my boyfriend to buy one for his house.

The Google Chromecast can basically make your TV smart. With your smartphone (works with either Android or iOS), you can access apps like Netflix, HBO NOW, Showtime to watch your favorite shows, or even cast Facebook videos. I like the Chromecast because I can specifically cast videos when I use my phone's internet browser. Very helpful when you want something on a bigger screen rather than on a small screen.

This is the perfect product for anyone new to streaming. It can be added to a TV that does not have smart features or one that already does. It's also very easy to setup and use. Just connect it to your TV through an available HDMI port and then complete the setup on your phone or tablet connected to WIFI. Once complete you can stream from any app that has the cast icon in it. (It looks like a box with waves in the corner)

This product has decent functionality. The elimination of a bulky HDMI cord (for excess of 15+ feet) is the selling feature. However cast to screen is quite slow in the sync rate, but not a breaking point. A good solution for the price range.

This chromecast is an easy setup and I really appreciate that because I’m not that great at setting things up alone. It’s a simple link up if you want it for a small bedroom especially. The only confusing thing that I didn’t understand is when I turn off the tv it still has a blinking light. Not sure if I’m supposed to disconnect the wire each time I turn off the tv, but so far I’ve just left it connected.

Purchased this primarily to use with HBO GO and Showtime Anytime apps on my LG G-Pad, which work fine. When trying to 'cast other video clips, there's a very slight sound lag; don't know yet whether that's because of that app or this device.

This little device, for $50 or less, is a plug and play that even slightly older folks can install and launch within minutes. A download onto our andriod tablet, plug the Chromecast into a HDMI port on the television, select that port with the remote, then go to Netflix or HBO or You Tube and click on the cast icon - not only is up on the wide screen television, the sound is broadcast through the top-notch surround sound!

The Chromcast was better than I thought it was going to be. It resembles the Firestick, however, it’s better as gas as the app center. The Google Chromcast is just better.

It's a great and cheap way to turn your TV into a Smart TV. For the price, I don't think there's a better bargain out there. I also had a first generation Chromecast. This one isn't very different but it is faster. It also looks nicer and I think the design is more convenient. You can stream nearly anything from your phone and laptop whether it be videos, photos, or music. It's great for college students. It's great for families.

The google chrome is great for casting! I can cast literally anything on my phone! Love this product. Only downside is that my port is a bit high so it weighs down a bit.

Very easy to use. Compact and works great. My son is now able to play his games on our bigger tv.

Offers more streaming functionality than the one built in the Google Fiber TV box. Can turn it off or on using Google Home. Just gotta figure out how to name it properly.
