Google products are well know to plug, play and work. This cast device is no different. You will find it fun to ask movies and not have to use a DVD player again.

Despite my very minimal wifi service. the Chromcast that I bought at Best Buy has delivered excellent video from both my Iphone and my laptop computer. Initially, I had purchased another product from another source that claimed to be a Chromecast device, but was in reality a fake and did not work at all. Beware of this product! Make sure you have a real one which can be purchased at Best Buy.

Good product. Easy to set up and it turned my tv to a smart tv. For $25 you can't go wrong.

The chromecast is awesome and absolutely does what I need it to do. It is a little difficult to get your laptop to stream movies, from websites, to your tv; but other than that it's awesome if you have Hulu, Netflix, and HBO Go. The HD is really nice and clear, and it hasn't ever had to stop and load a movie or episode after it started playing. The coolest feature it that you can throw a movie up onto your tv really quick and then close out of that movie on your phone and it will continue to play on your tv.

I purchased this product because I felt that my smart TV (samsung) wasn't very good at doing it's job with the built in apps, like Netflix. I use the Chromecast everyday. It's easier than the built in apps on my TV, and I can control it from my phone. It walks you through set up, and it couldn't be easier to use. Note: I am an Android user, so I don't know how well, or if it will even play with iPhone at all.

Not being real 'techie', setting this up to get it running wasn't too bad. Did need to reset router for everything to sync, but once that was done it works great.

This is an great buy for an media steaming device for your tv. This product is an amazing device.

Google chromecast is my favorite streaming device. I love the ease of use with using your phone. My only complaint is if you don’t have good internet it can be a pain to get it working right. Lots of streaming issues with slow internet. I would recommend getting the 4K version just because it comes with the Ethernet hook up. You can go direct and not have to use WiFi.

I have heard alot about Chromecast but didn't really know how it all worked that is until I saw this great deal on the Google Chromecast with HDMI. I purchased and connected it up and in minutes I was streaming video from my phone, my tablet, my laptop and desktop computer to my television and the quality was great! So glad I found this deal and finally got to use Chromecast by Google.

I have a chromecast on all my tv's except one like ease of use, clear pictures and easy setup.

This version of the Chromecast is a great improvement over the first installment. It has better range in Wi-Fi and can also stream full 1080p video and supports surround sound.

Easy install and does everything it says it will and integrated easily with my GoogleHome

one difference i could found between old and new chomecast is addition 5GHz band. I am not sure but this has resolved flicker issue when i am playing a video from chome browser.

I still have an older non smart tv and this Chromecast lets me make use of my older tv. Now I regularly cast my Netflix and youtube videos. Just remember you are not limited to just those 2 apps. You can also cast you npr, pandora and plenty of other apps. Installation and setup was a breeze. I highly recommend this product for anyone looking to cast on their tv or hdmi monitor.

Finally, I have a simple way to mirror what is on my laptop to my HDTV. Set up was very simple. The included instructions clearly explained everything I needed to do to get up and running. I didn't know how much I needed a Chromecast until my son moved out, taking his DVD player and Roku3 with him. Since I had an unused laptop in my family room, I was able to replace both of my son's devices at Best Buy for $35.

This is the second Chromecast we've purchased-- one for the bedroom TV and one for the living room. We had to return a Roku because the Roku would not communicate with our home WiFi without a $25 visit from the phone company. (Even a call to Roku customer support couldn't fix it. I returned the first Roku for the Chromecast, and have been happy enough that we got a second one. The Chromecasts have been easy to set up, and the picture is adequate, though the sound is sometimes glitchy.

With all of the apps in the Google Play store, this makes it very possible to live without cable. I was extremely happy with the purchase and the bonus $20 to use in the store!

We have one of the older Chromecast units and love it! We decided to purchase a 2nd for another TV. The newer generation is just as wonderful and has less delay and freeze ups.
