I originally bought this to play music through my receiver. I have a network ready Harmon Kardon receiver but I have so many songs that it takes forever to load the library and Bluetooth adapters are just as expensive so I just plugged it into one of my spare hdmi ports and then into the USB port on the back of my cable box and I'm good to go. Works great for everything and no more buffering like with gen 1.

It's got support for 5Ghz bandwidth. So if you have a router which can work on 5Ghz as well. It's a good choice for less interference. But yeah if you already have a previous version of chromecast, doesnt make sense to upgrade it.

If you have a smart phone and a decent tv a chrome cast is a must have. The chrome cast makes it so easy to share your videos and photos with you have friends and family over.

Good price for this excellent device. Easy to install with your Google Home.

Setup and operation is easy. Good performance and value. Great addition to old TV's.

Chrome cast is easy to set up but it does not allow you to connect everything to your tv.

I liked the extra space they gave it with the HDMI wire. It seems to have issues with holding down the stream over WiFi, restarts when I watch somethings for longer than One Hour .

The Chrome case is easy to set up and use. It works well for streaming movies and music.

The chromecast is very easy to use, affordable and fast as well

It cast from my phone to the TV very well the picture is crystal clear. However at times if I haven't used it in a while it loses the connection to the Wi-Fi and I have to unplug the power cord and restart it again. So I just simply unplug it when I'm not going to use it and then plug it back in when I am. When a streaming app won't work on my fire stick or Roku I usually can get it to work on my phone and cast it from there. It is a great little backup device when other things won't work right

This is an amazing TV casting (streaming) product for $30. I have iOS & Android devices (oh, and Chrome on PCs) that can "project" to the large screen TV. Most mobile apps (eg. Netflix, ) have adopted Chromecast as their supported casting feature. Love being able to stream to any TV, that has an HDMI imput. Very Easy to set up and use.

This is the third Chromecast product I have purchased. The device provides good value for the price and performs just as Google says it does. I regularly use it at home for watching Netfllx and Google Play Movies and for listening to music. Nothing else beats the convenience of managing playbacks from my smartphone. I said this is my third Chromecast purchase. This one I bought as a gift for a friend.

This is the first Google Chrome that I've purchased. My son recommended it to me and I'm grateful that he did. I've had the unit for approximately one month and I'm very pleased with the ease of usability and how reliable and stable the device is. I really like how you can add your own photos to the backdrop a.k.a. screensaver and turn your television into a gigantic picture frame. I plan to buy two or three more of these boxes one for each of our televisions, in my opinion you can't go wrong with them.

IPhone X is awesome. My girlfriend and I both got one on Black Friday. Staff was very nice and helpful even though it was a hectic night being Black Friday.
