I really cannot knock this device beacuse it does what it is suppose to and that is integrate in with my handheld devices and stream content. The chromecast is able to hand off the content that is being streamed from your devicve to the chromecast, so no content is actually streaming from your device. It also integrates in with basic things like local videos and pictures. Worthwhile inexpensive device that you can use around the house. It is also easily portable from one room to another or on trips.

IT only took me 5mins. to set it up and boom! I had all my streaming content and playing videos on my tv screen! not to mention the apps it already has on the device.

I have a new smart TV but bought this for the chromcast features.

I had the original Chromecast which worked great. Needed to buy another one for a different room, and this one works just as great maybe even better.

Works as advertised. Very easy to navigate. Works wonderfully with Google home!

Easy to set up and use. Quality was good displaying photos from my Smartphone.

The Chromecast was very easy to setup out of the box. I plugged it into an open HDMI port and supplied it power via a USB port on the back of the TV. The Chromecast will shutoff with the TV since it is USB powered; something I really like compared to other brand streamers. No issues streaming Netflix, Youtube, etc, so far. It is 802.11AC wireless so streaming from my iPhone or tablets are very fast.

The new Chromecast is heads and shoulders above the the original model. With the improved app, it allows for easily switching between your streaming services easily.

I have a firestick and now a Chromecast. The only advantage is the fact that one can cast whatever you see on your computer (google chrome). Firestick is so much better.

It’s working as expected where I am relaxed after buying this product. It’s easy to cast videos which were opened in your mobile or desktop browsers.

Chromecast has always been my favorite streaming device. Portable, easy to use. No remotes, no hassles. I keep buying them very often to gift people.

My son needed a chromecast to take on trip with him so he can watch some of his movies from home. He is on the trip right now and says it is working.

Very fluent, easy to use, available on most of the apps, and inexpensive.

Like this a lot more than the old one, I don't have any buffering issues when watching movies on Google Play. And it's still the same price which makes it a good buy.

The chromecast audio is great for bringing old speakers into the modern age. The sound quality had been much better than bluetooth adapters. My only complaint is that mine seemed to have issues with 5Ghz wifi networks.

A must needed device if you have a tv and doesn't own a tv connection. you can cast laptop screen as well as phones. Great to view your pictures on tv

If you don't have a smart tv this will convert it into one. Best part is I stream movies straight from my phone to my tv with screen cast. I love it

It works OK (after you figure out how to use it). It is not as straight forward as the instructions appear. It still needs more Apps (including more network TV). I never did get the Screen Mirroring to work very well.

The Chromecast product is great to carry when traveling to friends or relatives. It provides an instant slide show opportunity when coupled with a smartphone or tablet. While my other three are dedicated, this one is my mobile device. They are easy to set up on the road and times our hosts insist we leave it with them. Then it's often time to buy another or visit a best buy and buy one there.

I bought this for my husband he loves that he can play racing games on his phone and see it on the tv. It's also great for watching videos you record on your phone
