This device is so convient. I watch Netflix some times before I fall asleep and it's kind of hard to see a remote in the dark, but I can control the volume, my netflix, and other apps like Vudu or Sling right from my phone. Not only that but my friend can control it with their phones when they're over or I can take it to my family's house and use it there.

I installed it in my living room tv, and I can say I rarely watch cable or local tv with how much I rely on my Chromecast. There are great offers that come with it when you first purchase it, in my case 3 free months of the HBO app. There are so many apps within the Google Home app, so I stream everything from Spotify to the actual screen on my phone.

This product works fine with all devices and performance is awesome.

I have old chormecast, but this looks nicer, still not sure what is the differences but I'm ok with this

Great Product again from google. I have always been a big fan of google products and this fella from google again met my expectations. It's great.

Worked great! Easy to use with excellent images when casting video content from smart phone. And, only $35. Inexpensive way to maximize phone apps.

I ordered this based on reviews and have to say that it is an impressive little device. The install and setup was straight forward, and interface was easy to use. With all that said, I returned it because it wasn't exactly what I was looking for and went with the Roku Stick. Having to use a phone to run everything on this was just not a viable solution when my kids wanted to watch programs. Would recommend this if you're using your phone to run it though.

Great streaming device picture is great. Easy setup

Bought as a Christmas gift for my best friend. He had never even heard of the thing but was very interested when I explained the concept to him. He watches movies religiously on his phone while working from home. Connection and setup was a breeze and now he can send the movies from his phone to the TV. Said it was the best Christmas gift he got this year.

This is my second Chromecast device. This sleek design is much better than the first version. The set up was easy but it took a rather long time to download the required updates

A friend told us about Google Chromecast so we were checking it out and thought to stop at Best Buy. The associate was very, very knowledgeable and understood what we thought we wanted. All our questions were answered. We also learned about comparative products. It was only a 1 stop shop for this item. Once we set it up we were watching within minutes!!!

This is a great little product. Be aware that this does need to be hooked up to power in order for it to work. Either by an usb that you may have on you tv if it's newer or by an outlet near-by.

I love it I wish it just was able to support more media types. Overall very pleased with purchased. I am going to buy one for everyone in the house

I have the old version and love the new one works just as well. But old technology does not work with the new one. You should update your tablet.

Best way to quickly find something for your kid to watch specially cool when combined with Google Home

This works great if your looking to cut the cord. YouTube & Pandora work excellent and it even has app suggestions to help find new entertainment.

i already have a couple of these in the house but wanted to make sure every tv wanted one. When people come over anyone can throw videos up on the tv while hanging out, which is nice and convenient. This also allows me to turn on my TV via voice through my google homes. as well as play video on my TV through voice with google home
