Got this chromecast to compliment my other smart tv's for an older unit in a guest room. Great at streaming Netflix, YouTube and HBO. Couldn't be easier to install and have up and running. With the apps downloaded on devices your just a click away from streaming. Recommend to anybody you has a streaming need for their extra or primary TV.

So I was browing around on google and they had a story about the chromecast being on sale for $25.00 after I didnt even know what it did after I researched it just makea ur plain flat screen into a smart tv so I went out and bought especially after I seen the regular price for them I saved and can enjoy Netflix what a goof Christmas gift for me

So far this it a great option for my kids rooms to be able to stream the typical apps they use. Loads and streams quickly and they love it!

This new model of the chromecast works better than the original model. I haven't tried how far away it can cast, but it works great for me.

So, I expected a great item, judging by the description; but this item is so so.. It has bugs, that need fixing. The firmware needs to be updatable. It needs to have a fast forward option. Sometimes, it takes forever, for it to cast to your TV. Sometimes, when using Netflix, the play/pause buttons dissapear. These things, plus more, would make this product live up to its description. Over all, it's a decent piece of equipment, but in today's age of technonogy, it just badly needs to be up to speed, even if that mean up marking the price..

Excellent affordable streaming device that is very simple to set up and use. Not having a designated controller can at times be difficult to get used to but it's one less thing to worry about losing. Great device and once it's set up and functioning properly, this device is a game changer in combining the two things we use most, TV and Phone.

Perfect to see your mobile on a big screen. While playing a movie or so. You can still use the Mobile for different things.

I got this cause the first gen didn't work at the 5ghz router i have. This one works on both router bands.. Much better than the original.

I bought it to replace a broken Chromecast. The new design definitely fixed the problem that caused the other Chromecast to break easily.

Easy to install and works very good with iphone and android

I really only got the Chromecast because I'm a huge NWSL fan and after switching to go90 from YouTube, the only way I would be able to cast the games to my tv was from the Chromecast. But I must say, I'm a huge fan of this. I've found myself using this over my Roku from time to time. I would definitely recommend this. Very easy to use.
