For years, I have been using a Roku to stream web content to my TV, but have been frustrated by the clunky interface and slow response and load times. I picked up a Chromecast six months ago, and haven't used the Roku since then. Using my phone to stream content is fair easier then trying to navigate with the Roku's minimalist remote.

I got this for my parents to use to stream at their house and hey are able to use it easily...and they aren't techies at ALL

It works great for all devices especially when there are multiple friends and they are any to add songs or videos in queue

My son loves to watch videos on YouTube so this was a great gift idea. Now he can watch all his favorite videos on his tv.

I own the older model of the Chromecast but when I found out there was a newer model. I had to have it for another TV in the house. I only wished I had waited to get it in another color.

I bought one of these just to be able to watch Netflix in the bedroom. Had a people over last weekend and plugged this bad boy into the livingroom- AWESOME! Was able to stream Spotify and YouTube the whole night. Highly recommend. If you see them on sale (ten bucks off) jump on it... they rarely go for that price.

Our previous ChromeCast we could push a stream from the cell phone to the tv, and even if it was off it would power on, instantly playing the video. Either this one does not work in the same way or it requires a change to the settings that I am not aware of. We still enjoy the conscience and are able stream everything once turning the tv on.

It is a very nice device. Perfect if you can pair it with Google home. I replaced a couple of HTPC with two of these and they work great. My only issue is that there's still not a lot apps out there, however the number seems to grow every day. Also, sometimes the phone is not the more convenient way to control what you want to see. But perhaps it's me who am still too used to a traditional remote control. Overall I like it.

Bought one two years ago and now I've put one on every TV. Love being able to cast content from cell phones to the larger screen of aTV.

Great product and enjoying casting to my TV. previously i used to connect through hdmi cable but now without any cables am able to do it.

This is great if you don't have or want cable and you want to have a variety of shows to wstch

Not an Apple TV but it does the job. Affordable and compact

Coming from a previous gen Chromcast. I've noticed quicker connection/less buffering when streaming. Plus it looks cooler.

The chromecast works great for the living room. Or any room very easy to use pair this with a home mini and it works fantastic

This is a nifty device at a reasonable price. I was looking for something to cast my photos and videos easily without having to hook up cables to my TV. This is a great alternative if you have a non-smart TV, of course, it's not the same, but good enough for my needs.
