One of the greatest purchase I’ve made at bestbuy. Exceeded my expectations, something I’d highly recommend to someone.

While this is your 3rd gen Chromecast, this does not support 4K. If this did, I would have given it more stars. One thing to make sure to know of is that it does NOT natively stream Amazon Video. You will need to have a PC to stream Amazon prime movies over chromecast. It's a good little HDMI stick for what formats will work through it. YouTube and Plex are what I use it primarily for. Netflix and Hulu also run well.

This product allows you to watch your streaming movies and TV shows on your TV rather than your laptop. Great for home entertainment!

We already had an Apple TV which worked great in the living room, but didn't want to spend that much for something in the bedroom.Bought this so that we could stream shows in our bedroom. It does the job that we need in the bedroom, still not as great as apple tv but if u just need to stream a few shows or channels this works great!

Much improved connectivity when casting from my phone and from the chrome browser. Worth it!

Still trying to figure out how to watch more movies on this thing for free but seriously love the product. Mostly use it for YouTube.

I'm a google fan but the fact that this only work with the app to use as a remote control is a minus. ..I decided to buy another product

Great product, easy to use and it was super easy to set up

I have been using my Chromecast for a few months now and absolutely love it. I'm able to watch my TV shows, movies, YouTube videos and stream my music. some people may not like the fact that there is no remote, but I personally love that I can download all the apps I need onto my phone, and choose which one I want to use at the time.

I'm very impressed with this device. I purchased the original Chromecast and it died within 6 months, received a new one and that was quit working after a little over a year. Sad, lol. Obviously I haven't had this one for that long, but the feature set is much more robust and seamless. Streaming Netflix is no problem now.

The chromecast is simple to set up, and simple to use and (outside of cell phones) is the most useful piece of tech that we have. "Anything to the TV" makes it easy to sharing silly videos with the family, show photos to friends (or clients, being a photographer). No better way to spend $25-$35... I should have got one years ago!

Easy to set up, works great with iPhone and google home

With owning several Chromecast (Both Gen. 1 and 2) and being paired with Google Home, they are truly powerful little gadgets. Easily attach them to any modern TV and your off to streaming just about anything you can think of. The only downside, which is why they are so cheap, is the fact that they are reliant on a device (Phone, Tablet, Laptop, ETC.), but this can be easily overlooked in today's world.

I had to buy the newer version because the old version wasn't receiving my wifi signal. The new version is so much better. Although it does freeze sometimes but no interruptions.
