Bought this product because i was done watching movies on my phone thanks to this product now i watch my movies on a bigger screen.

My ex used to have a Chromecast and I loved it! When I moved on, I just had to get one for myself. Love these things!

If you ever needed a thing to plug into your television to make it show stuff from your phone, this is the thing you should plug in.

The new "puck" design may seem odd at first but since it is magnetized it simply tucks itself behind the hdmi connection of your TV. The connection quality is improved compared from the original with less buffering to deal with when watching YouTube or Netflix. Pros: Connection Quality, Portability, easy to use with mobile device, makes old TV sets with hdmi but no smart tv function have streaming capabilities.

I purschased the Chromecast audio a few years ago thinking it would be sufficient for my needs. Even though I use my xbox most of the time for YouTube, Netflix, and other apps, the actual chrome cast has been super easy and fun to use. In addition, it’s nice to take with me when I travel and plug into hotel TVs.

If you understand how a Chromecast works, then this is a great product. It will turn any TV into a smart TV. Even TVs with built in smart features, this may be a great upgrade. It's also great for traveling. I take it with me and use the hotspot on my phone to turn the hotel TV into a smart TV. If you need 4K, go with the Ultra.

So the biggest thing about the Chromecast is the vast support of services and devices that can be used. And when they all work they work pretty well but there are cases were the experience is not perfect. For one I was having major issues using Direct TV's Now service with the Chromecast, it would constantly disconnect and reboot my Chromecast. I have also come across issues with apps like Netflix, Spotify, and even YouTube, yes the very service that Google makes and has issues with its own device... So I feel that development on the Google Chromecast is still a work in progress. There are too many times were I have more issues than successes using the device. It may not be Google's problem but more of developers trying to program for the device. You wont be getting a consistent quality like you would with the likes of an Apple TV. Another point to make is the ease of use. The only way to control the Chromecast is with your smartphone. So if you'd rather use a remote than a phone to control the TV you'll definitely want to look into Apple TV or Roku because Google has no solution for a remote.

My kids love to pay on the Wii U and its something that we can all play and have fun with. I'm glad that you can still play Wii games on it. Wish it had more game options though.

I plugged one of these into my TV and repurposed an old 8-inch android tablet that sits at my office desk. I have Youtube, Netflix, Google Play Music, and all the apps you could want sitting on the home screen. A few clicks and anything I can do on Android is now also able to be thrown up on my TV screen with no cables or complicated setup.

We love Chromecast and have one on all of our tvs. When this new one came out we updated all of our tvs, better quality and faster!

I stream almost everything so this makes it so convenient. Haven't had any hiccups with connection and great quality

What's not to like about this version of Chromecast? With the addition of a 5GHz channel videos now stream smoothly in high def - although you do have to ensure a good connection to the 5GHz channel itself. And with the constant addition of both live and on-demand programming everyone can pretty much watch what they want when they want.

The Chromecast is an excellent addition to any TV. The phone app gives instant access to Google Play, YouTube, Netflix and others.

Love it, because I can see my videos from my Iphone in my TV, a little hard to set it up, but once set it works fine

I didn't own the first ten chromecast, but I have experience using it with some friends and gf. This second gen, seems more stable, faster and for the same price as the last one, I bought it when it came out, a couple of days or weeks after. Overall great product I can't complain for what I used it, which is mostly Netflix and YouTube
