I bought this for me and my wife to use in the bedroom since we didn't want anything big sitting on the dresser. This is perfect. It's small and stays hidden behind the TV. The only downside is you have to plug it into an outlet. It doesn't run off the TV's USB port. Other then that it's a great product.

it works great but I did not notice many or any changes comparing with the previous model. Still a fan of this product

I purchased the Chromecast and had it installed in less than 10 minutes. Easy to follow directions made that possible.

I have a two year old Samsung smart tv that isn't very smart anymore and can no longer connect to the Internet via wifi so this is the perfect device for streaming.

Very easy to setup. One touch casting. No issues in streams. Great product.

This is an excellent product and it works as expected, Anyhow i felt fire stick is better than chromecast in ease of using when compared with both.

I got one for my daughter a couple of years ago & just got another one for myself. I use it mostly to stream Netflix & Hulu but we also use it for YouTube, CW, etc. I haven't had cable in years & don't even miss it since I can stream pretty much anything I want to watch. I highly recommend the Chromecast!!

With all the changes with Google beginning May 2015., this device is an excellent alternative multi broadcasting apps.

I bought the golden Nexus 6 and I can't be more satisfied. It's fast, looks great and works perfectly. Haven't faced any issue till now. I had a Nexus 5 before this. And since then I've really liked Google phones. Pros - sleek and slim - fast - latest tech - light weight - good camera Cons - none yet

Great little product works just like the first gen... It does what it suppose to do makes my tv a smart tv, sort of...

We have an Apple TV and all apple products so we were a little weary of purchasing this but others said they were able to stream from their devices so we gave it a shot. We love it! My kids use this more then they use the Apple TV. I watch Netflix on it even though we have a Samsung smart tv. Easy to set up and use!

My Samsung plasma TV is an old smartTV on which google has stopped supporting youtube. As we are happy with our TV and didn't wanna change it any time soon and also Youtube has become a part of our day-to-day life - so chromecast was the cheapest and best solution in our case and it didn't disappoint us. For us, chromecast is a youtube player and it works for it well.

Does exactly what I want - provides a nice easy way to cast videos from streaming services to my TV. Much more economical and less wasteful than streaming through a full blown PC like I had been doing up until that point. Some hiccups when using non-mainstream applications to view high resolution videos, but for the main applications (netflix, hulu, youtube, etc), it is excellent.

With this device, you can basically cast almost anything from any site you can get on a Chrome browser, whether on your phone, tablet, or PC. It makes all of those smart TV apps obsolete. And being able to cast music like Pandora or Slacker to your TV's sound system is icing on the cake! Highly recommended.

I use this bad boy for everything. Watch my Netflix or YouTube TV. And it pairs well with a Google home

Bought this for my 50" TV so that I can chromecast videos from youtube and movies I watch online. Love it, great buy.

Have been a Chromecast fan for about a year and am most satisfied. Picture quality is excellent, and no problems with buffering. I have standard router (nothing fancy) and use the chromecast with my android phone 2 rooms away without difficulty - watch HBO, Showtime, Youtube, Netflix! Recommend highly.

Bought a 4k TV as soon as it came out, but lost some functionality. So needed a Chromecast for casting.
