I like being able to use my samsung phone to mirror image to my TV. Its great us for youtube and watching movies. I have noticed that it has a little glitchy connection, not as smooth as using an iphone with appleTV. Also it is an inexpensive way to get netflix on a tv, im thinking about getting afew of these and dumping expensive cable. Plus, its a beautiful shiny black color.

Now I can watch videos sent from my cell phone to the TV without errors as happened with my smart tv.

Prior to getting Smart TV's with the Smart Cast functionality, I had bought my 1st Chromecast about 4 years ago and LOVE it. To date, I have 2 and bought a 3rd one for a family member recently. I do a lot of International traveling and to have the ability to take my programming with me is a necessity.

Looks a little nicer than the original stick version, functions just as good and I got a $20 google play credit for buying it so I really couldn't pass it up.

I generally use my laptop to view online movies, YouTube or PowerPoint in my big TV and I used a HDMI cable which looked clumsy and always had some connection issue. Thus bought Google Chromecast and very easily connected with my HDTV and immediately started to stream from my mobile, tablet and laptop. Super duper convenience and easy to use. Made my life a little more simple.

Easy to use, small, looks great, a little pixelated at times but overall great!

To maximize the usefulness of the Chromecast, an Android device is best suited for it. From screen mirroring to music listening, there are many apps available to use with the Chromecast, my favorite being YouTube, I can quickly search videos and add them to a queue to view on the TV, very convenient.

This product is good, but you must check and make sure your Internet speeds keep up. It also does not seem to be compatible with certain apps you wish it was.

I love my Chromecast. It works great with lots of apps. I just wish it would cast Amazon videos.....

Google Chromecast model 2015 is a great device for watching current past movies right in the comfort of our home.

Chromecast is great for streaming from your phone or tablet. It works best and get more features if you use an android device as opposed to an apple/ios device. The web browser streaming is sort of ok but not the greatest. Would be nice if this also supported DLNA so I can stream what is in my NAS.

I had 1st edition of chromecast! Brought this to add to another TV. Amazing device, works flawless!

Casting is intuitive and smooth. Love this device. It's a steal for the price.

I bought the old one and I decide to buy the new one because I saw in somehow I can do mirroring. This is amazing.

I love the Chrome cast. I use this for my YouTube TV account and it is awesome. It works flawlessly.

I would not compare if this one is better/worst than other devices out there - I simply love the capability of being able to connect quickly from the apps. Still exploring different apps that I can stream from my mobile devices to TV .. so looking forward, but best value for what I have paid for this product.

Set-up to the TV was easy. It took awhile for the device to update itself but was the hardest part of the set-up. Chromecast is easy to use. The power cord that connects the Chromecast to a power outlet is a bit short so I would recommend buying a longer cord if the outlet is not nearby.

You have to purchase this if you have a smartphone and Netflix account because that's all you gonna need to watch.

I cut cable and only stream what I don't watch ota. This chromecast is worth every penny would buy again if needed
