Highly Versitile
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Prior to getting Smart TV's with the Smart Cast functionality, I had bought my 1st Chromecast about 4 years ago and LOVE it. To date, I have 2 and bought a 3rd one for a family member recently. I do a lot of International traveling and to have the ability to take my programming with me is a necessity.

Thus bought Google Chromecast and very easily connected with my HDTV and immediately started to stream from my mobile, tablet and laptop. Super duper convenience and easy to use. Made my life a little more simple.

An easier form of media streaming to the TV.

From screen mirroring to music listening, there are many apps available to use with the Chromecast, my favorite being YouTube, I can quickly search videos and add them to a queue to view on the TV, very convenient.

Easy way to add smart capabilities to your TV

If you're a person who likes using the remote to view menus and scroll through, then Rokus are a better choice.

Good streaming stick

It works best and get more features if you use an android device as opposed to an apple/ios device. The web browser streaming is sort of ok but not the greatest. Would be nice if this also supported DLNA so I can stream what is in my NAS.

Love this product / interface

Still exploring different apps that I can stream from my mobile devices to TV .. so looking forward, but best value for what I have paid for this product.
