I absolutely love this streaming stick... you can get almost anything you want to watch on it... all through your cellphone or tablet... I use it mostly for Netflix so I don't have to keep running my PS3 for it... overall it's simple to use and very convenient you can move it from TV to TV...

I liked being able to use my Chromecast on my main tv so I bought another one for my bedroom tv

The google chromecast is good for what it is , streaming things from your mobile device to your tv ...... but it’s not without its issues the Device sometimes freezes or it doesn’t respond and I’ll have to restart it that doesn’t make it a bad product but just expect it to work 8 out of 10 times and if you’re ok with that pick it up

Works perfect and does what its supposed to. Easy to setup and easy to use.

Chromecast was always a good buy for what it does vs the cost, but I do like the newer model overall. Its seems easier to attach to the tv and easier to setup. Also the older model would get very hot over long usage, the new model is not as bad. Works great with my Android and Iphone applications.

My son asked for this for Christmas. I think he uses it on a daily basis. Therefore I would say it is a hit.

Good added features over the old version plus the connection ergonomics are much better than previous stick

I love the fact that I can use my Chromecast with Google Home. The ability to cast from several different movie streaming apps is great.

Nice product, but what happened to the Nest product line integration? Google - you always strive for perfection, but what happened here?

It's so easy to cast my notebook screen, or any Netflix/G Play video from both Amdroid and iPhone mobile devices. The only downside is no support for Amazon Prime Video - but that was Amazon's decision, so they could ensure you still bought the Fire TV Stick. No problem; I have both and love them.

It's faster and easier to install than previous version. I'm a huge chromecast fan. Saves me tons of money.

If you want to watch movies on a tv or projector from your computer or phone, this is the easiest way to do it. Just using your existing network, this is a quick and easy install and voila.....watch your local content on any tv in the house. Its portable or its cheap enough to buy one for each tv.

This is an upgrade from the older version of chromcast as I needed something with5.0 wifi and this does it.

I've been casting for a year and a half. Bought this model recently for another TV. Works great, easy to use.

Great for use with a tablet. It's a little clumsey with the laptop, but worked after trying a couple times.

I would rate this higher than any streaming service available, not only due to its price point but also because if it's performance. I also own the older version (similar to a USB drive) and would rate the older version higher than the new version just because the older version is more portable.

Very happy with this over all. Wish there were better options for mirroring my screen to my tv, though. This just doesn't do what I want in that regard.

The google Chromecast is justifiably well-reviewed. However, it's also not he smartest of streaming options. There are other services that will allow you to stream more channels than the chromecast, but few will be comparable in price. Setup is easy. Again, there are smarter options out there, but the price and ease of installation make the Chromecast an easy winner.
