I own a Chromecast first edition from last thanksgiving. . Works OK on my other TV. So got this. Lot of streaming websites work in addition to YouTube other supported through phone. Only issue is it Doesn't support Amazon Prime videos through phone. You have to cast it through a browser

Super easy to use and hook up to television. I use my Chromecast daily and it is easy for the entire family to use. It easily connects to the internet. The only downfall is that it must be plugged into an outlet for use. It would be much easier if it used power from the television itself.

Love it since the minimalist shape and how you can swap from one TV device to another without problems!!!!!

This thing is amazing. We bought it because we got a Google Home for Christmas. With this connected it to our tv and now when we tell home to stream Netflix it brings it up using this. Also if we are doing something on our phone we can hit a button and it will play it on the tv. Amazing.

Google Chromecast allows you to see all those YouTube videos on your tv. Plus, with different apps, you can watch any photo or video from your iPhone.

Works great awesome picture,small and portable,easy to use even for kids.

Purchased it to compliment Google home mini but very disappointed with the performance. Roku is much better product for similar price.

Able to watch Netflix on our tv easily with chrome cast through my iPhone with no call interruptions, I've already recommended the product to family.

As long as you keep your drvice and the Chromecast in good wifi reception, it works just as I want it to.

Great new design and easy setup. I like the short HDMI cable magnetically connects to the back of the unit.

Great little gadget to watch YouTube but it doesn't work with all the apps like with the one for Directv.

Allows us to watch many channels without using the laptop, saving wear and tear and producing less heat. Wish we could get MsNBC though

I am writing this review nearly four years after buying this. This device still works as intended. I rarely have problems from it. If not, check the app or service being used with it. Highly recommend it if your looking for a simple device to play videos and music on a display. No UI. Just your phone as the remote

These things are amazing. I am a part of the cord cutting phenomenon, and it's perfect. I have a few of these in my house, because it's nice to be watching movies and shows in the living room, and just hit pause, walk to the bedroom, and pick up exactly where I left off on another screen.

I got the Chromecast so I had more flexibility to watch what I want from any TV in the house. It's especially great for older TV's that don't have that ability built-in. Now I can cast Netflix directly to that device, view photos or videos on a big screen for everyone to enjoy, or just have a large screen to view my Android devices on.
