Didn’t know what to expect purchasing this. Originally went in store to purchase a similar device. Bought this instead. Half the price and works great. I have I phone and practically works with every app. Step by step setup. Fairly easy to install. Highly recommended

This is one of the most efficient product which i bought and make use fully. It casts almost everything, no restrictions like amazon firestick. I had been using one such device for past 2 years and never faced any issue. Bought this again as a gift. Go for it!

Simply the best, and easiest streaming device to use today. Buy. Download the Google Cast apps, and start streaming. (needs an active wifi setup) Google hit a home run with the second edition of the ChromeCast. Netflix, Hulu, YouTube, etc. Cast anything you can imagine from your phone.

I bought this Chromecast for my sister. It's great because you can control it from your iPhone or iPad. When she's using it to watch Netflix, she can use other apps while it's streaming to her phone, and it doesn't use a noticeable amount of battery-life. Very pleased with this product!

This chomecast is the new base model for Google. It's a bit larger, than the original, which may or may not account for it running cooler to the touch than the original. It's wifi seems a bit improved as well, but that could be because it no longer plugs directly in to the HDMI port, thus getting it a little farther away from the digital noise of the TV.

My mom isn't the most technologically literate person, but she has mastered using this to stream YouTube, Netflix and Spotify — something her DVD player could do but she never used it to its full potential. This is very intuitive and easy for her to use. And it makes a great gift.

Great streaming device and price. The only issue I have with it is the HDMI version can't be grouped with additional Chromecasts in other areas of the house. For example, I can't group the Chromecast from my home theater with the one I have controlling the speakers in my backyard to play the same content. This is a feature the audio only Chromecast offers.

at first i felt the design was odd against version 1. having used the product i am liking the design. The desktop mirror seems to be faster too.

I think this is what every non-smart tv needs. If you have a smart phone you can make it work. I was a little confused by the branding but the hook up was easy and everything went quickly. I think the apps take a little bit longer than I expected to connect to the tv and I thought realistically this was going to be something I could use without a phone.

I already purchased a first generation chrome cast. Have recommended to many of my friends and family.

Works great! Only thing is that when you plug it in it doesn't magnet itself to the other end so it just dangles. But other than that I love it!

It is good enough for playing single video, but when it comes to playing one after one it stops responding sometimes, which is very frustrating.

I love this product havent stopped using it since i bought it . I dont even watch my cabel tv anymore

Does exactly what it's supposed to do. I can watch TV shows that I want to watch with no commercials!
