I have the first generation chromecast and just bought a new TV so was time to get another one. If using iPad (I do), best to buy an app to use with the chrome cast (video cast).

This makes watching tv on an old tv feels like a brand new

Great streaming device. No need to fumble with video cables to hook up phone/tablet/pc to your TV. Get on to Netflix, Hulu, Amazon Video on your device then cast it to your TV.

This device is very simple, but it does work as advertised. It has issues when you pause/resume content -- I tried streaming from multiple platforms & experienced the same issue. Another annoyance... it plays the first 10-15 seconds of content in very low quality. I would personally prefer that it buffer longer, then play full quality content.

Adding this to our TV allows for gre as terms flexibility in its use.

I love my chromecast and google home mini combo, this is my second pair with one in the living rooma The other in the bedroom this makes it easy to switch what I am watching between rooms during bed time

I have several chromecasts for my HD and my 4K UHD TVs. They are easy to use and reliable. I recommend them to anyone trying to stream media to a TV from their phone. They are so handy and reliable I even use one on my smart TV.

Easy to install and easy to use. It needed to be able to connect my phone and my PC to my TV without wires and with a little more flexibility than Bluetooth. Chromecast does this very well and I plan to add another to a second TV.

Connected the Chromecast to my Samsung TV and my Google Home Mini. I love that I can just say "OK Google play Stranger Things on Netflix" and my TV turns on Netflix. At this point I can't specify a certain episode (it just picks up playing where I left off) but I still like it.

I bought this product to give as a gift and the item is extremely useful for the price I paid.

I was looking for a device to offer flexibility in multiple rooms for audio, video, and photo sharing. This device does the trick. I hear that Apple Music compatibility is on the way. That will make this device a a must have.

Easy set up and works great to "cast" my android phone. Doesn't work too well with my older netbook (laggy and pixelated), but I shouldn't complain since it is not officially supported with the Windows XP operating system. That's too bad, because I really wanted it to work better with the netbook!

Great product to stream things from mobile phone. I like the idea about casting things, but limited apps support this. Also I would have loved to have a remote and install apps like the way I can do on Firestick so that I don't have to open my phone every time I want to use it.

Excellent streaming device to watch videos from. Love the ability to controll some of my favorite apps like Netflix and YouTube right from my phone or tablet. Hands down a great investment and the screen savers are cool too.

Google Chromecast is an awesome tool to cast from your favorite mobile device to any TV. I purchased a Chromecast for every TV in the house and an additional one for travel. Just plug it into the hotel TV and cast away. Voila!
