I have been using this product for more than a month. I am able to cast from my mobile through the Google Home App and also from PC web browser. The experience is near seamless (there are occasional lags but that is OK).

This works great for anything already Chromecast enabled. But if you're planning on using it with Amazon Prime Video, I found that it froze a lot and didn't work right. Also couldn't get it to cast Dish Anywhere, because the Dish anywhere pops up in a new window that won't cast.

I'm not a techy person and was concerned it would be too complicated for me to connect. It was so easy to install, simply plug in wall and TV, download chromcast app. That's it, even I could handle that. I love this product!

Set-up is easier than ever (I have a couple of older-generation units), it takes literally seconds now. Then you can cast almost anything you're watching on your phone. No-brainer life upgrade.

I've used Chromecast (previous generation that looks like a large flash drive) for almost 4 years now. I bought this one for my parents so they can cast from their phone to their TV. My mom loves it.

Had never heard of this product before but my friend came to stay for a week and forgot his so I purchased this for him cause he said it could give me Netflix from my phone on the TV. Can't believe I went so long without one.

My daughter doesn't really watch tv but, loves youtube. So, we ended up getting rid of the cable box in her room and getting the Chromecast for her tv. She really loves it and we saved some getting rid of the cable box.

I do not subscribe to any cable packages. This device does what it says it does. I'm able to cast shows from my devices to my TV. It also allows me to multitask once my show is casting. Better than Apple TV and cheaper.
