    We bought a chromecast for our guest bedroom so that our guests would be able to stream tv in high definition. This does exactly as advertised and is a great price at $35. Cheaper than the Apple TV and roku equivalents.

    got this because friend recommended it to view movies. picked it up on sale and works great for the family to stream movies and favorite programs. another option to use besides our roku and apple tv cord cutter tools.

    I purchased the chromecast for my 13 year old son for Christmas. He likes it but complains that it can only be used with your cell phone unlike the fire stick that I have in my bedroom. The only perk is YouTube on the chromecast because you can't access it on the fire stick. If I would've researched it better I would have gotten him the fire stick instead.

    I bought this to be able to control my TV with my Google home and it works great and we really enjoy having access to Smart internet TV via Google Home. It's great to be able to say Hi Google start youtube on TV.

    I'm glad the Best Buy employee recommend this product. Easy to watch movies online with Chromecast. Just plug it in follow the prompts to set up. I had originally bought a Roku and then realized that most of the shows/apps I wanted to watch required my cable/satellite account number.
