Chromecast allows my 55" TV to be used as a wireless monitor for my laptop running Chrome. The "tab" option is nice because the image sent to the TV continues to be from a given tab while I can use other tabs on the laptop to look up info, etc. Both my laptop running Windows 10 and my Smart TV have a mirrorcast feature but it is unstable and I don't use it much. Chromecast seems to be much more stable during the short time I have used it. Chromecast was a little tricky to set up, but I am still giving 5 stars because I'm not sure whether that setup problem had to do with my system and it works well once it is set up.

Chromecast is as advertised. Works with a ton of apps from your phone and sends to your TV. I had a party and beamed music videos from my phone. It was great.

Enjoy using this one, much more than the original. The faster networking and processor is definitely noticeable. Streams well, even when used for my deck TV.

I have one smart tv and one not so smart tv. The chrome cast is a great tool to watch shows that are available on my tablet or phone but not on tv. It's great when I travel also

Got one of these at work so we can stream movies on our down time. I purchased one for my daughter and she loves streaming HBO and Showtime from my accounts. Piece of cake to set up.

I have these on all of my TV's in the house. Netflix, Pandora, YouTube, all cast to the TV's no matter where I am in my house. And you can run multiple at a time.

I woukd recommend this product to anyone who watches netflixs or huku any app based shows on their phones can be casted to the tv for wveryone to enjoy. Even photos from ur phone.

I bought it so I could stream lots of shows and videos from my small phone screen to a larger screen, but a lot of the websites and apps I use aren't compatible. I don't have a subscription to any streaming services like Hulu or Netflix, but I would probably get more use out of the device if I did.

Simple to set up with clear concise directions. No problems with connectivity. Much more reliable than our smart blu-ray player. Couldn't be happier, wish I had bought it sooner.

Just had to plug it in to the TV and connecting to my phone just took a few more seconds. Simple and easy to use. Only downside is it has no remote. So had to switch to Roku which was almost the same price but came with a remote.

when I moved from an Iphone back to the Android Pixel XL I needed a way to throw youtube content and other content from my phone to my TV. This was a great solution. And cheap!

I have wanted to try the Chrome cast and am glad I picked one up. I didn't think I would have much used for one until I tried it, finding that I am using it more than I thought!

Works great and very easy to use. Plug it in and you can forget it. The beauty of the device is it is out of sight and doesn't take up much real estate. TV works flawlessly.

I am not intrested in tossing my perfectly good but not smart TV's throughout my house. I use this Google Chrome cast to watch what I want where I want.

I can clearly see the difference between the 1st gen Chromecast and this one in terms of performance. And the change of having the HDMI cable separate also makes it much easier for any TV mount up on the wall, with HDMI port in the back

This is by far the best streaming device to have. Going on road trips and stucinon a hotel, take it with you. For 35 bucks you can't beat that for a fast and reliable streaming device

Chromecast was the first to start the operation to stream youtube, netflix etc, from your phone, tablet, or computer, in my opinion, the other streaming devices do not compare

I enjoyed using it with my IPhone and 4K TV. The setup process make the experience worthwhile. Works flawless with Google home to stream your Media like Netflix to your screen.
