Hooked it up to my 10 year old tv that thankfully has hdmi inputs... works great! Had to do an update to my tv first cause the screen was flickering but after the update no issues!

It seemed pretty cool. But you can only mirror your phone if it's an android. I have iPhone so I returned it for something that fit my needs. But the little bit of time I did use it. It was well worth the $30. Just wasn't what I needed.

Chromecast allows my 55" TV to be used as a wireless monitor for my laptop running Chrome. The "tab" option is nice because the image sent to the TV continues to be from a given tab while I can use other tabs on the laptop to look up info, etc. Both my laptop running Windows 10 and my Smart TV have a mirrorcast feature but it is unstable and I don't use it much. Chromecast seems to be much more stable during the short time I have used it. Chromecast was a little tricky to set up, but I am still giving 5 stars because I'm not sure whether that setup problem had to do with my system and it works well once it is set up.

Love being able to throw my phone screen up on the tv. simple to use, unfortunately doesnt work without wifi....makes it hard to use in hotel rooms

Looking to get unplugged and this is a good cheap option to cast Netflix/Youtube/etc onto my TV from my phone. Quality is as good as expected with fairly easy setup and no lag.

I have one smart tv and one not so smart tv. The chrome cast is a great tool to watch shows that are available on my tablet or phone but not on tv. It's great when I travel also

My roommates and I use this for our 50 inch TV to stream Netflix, Youtube, Twitch, Spotify, and anime. Great substitute to paying huge monthly fees for cable.

For those with no smart tv this works great.. My son absolutely loves it

Got one of these at work so we can stream movies on our down time. I purchased one for my daughter and she loves streaming HBO and Showtime from my accounts. Piece of cake to set up.

I woukd recommend this product to anyone who watches netflixs or huku any app based shows on their phones can be casted to the tv for wveryone to enjoy. Even photos from ur phone.

when I moved from an Iphone back to the Android Pixel XL I needed a way to throw youtube content and other content from my phone to my TV. This was a great solution. And cheap!

Simple to set up with clear concise directions. No problems with connectivity. Much more reliable than our smart blu-ray player. Couldn't be happier, wish I had bought it sooner.

Just had to plug it in to the TV and connecting to my phone just took a few more seconds. Simple and easy to use. Only downside is it has no remote. So had to switch to Roku which was almost the same price but came with a remote.

I have wanted to try the Chrome cast and am glad I picked one up. I didn't think I would have much used for one until I tried it, finding that I am using it more than I thought!

Works great and very easy to use. Plug it in and you can forget it. The beauty of the device is it is out of sight and doesn't take up much real estate. TV works flawlessly.

I bought it so I could stream lots of shows and videos from my small phone screen to a larger screen, but a lot of the websites and apps I use aren't compatible. I don't have a subscription to any streaming services like Hulu or Netflix, but I would probably get more use out of the device if I did.

I use this for a non-smart TV that I have in my kids room. If you don't have a android device it might be difficult for you to control it. Otherwise it works well playing things from your phone on your tv.

Chromecast was the first to start the operation to stream youtube, netflix etc, from your phone, tablet, or computer, in my opinion, the other streaming devices do not compare
