Wonderful product, easy to use. It works will with google home. Only reservation is it does not have it's own remote like fire stick from amazon

Bought the Chromecast primarily as a way to cast videos from my Plex server. My Plex server is wonky, but the Chromecast works as expected.

I have two first generation chromecast's. While I didn't see a significant improvement in the new version, I must admit the bar had been set really high.

Loved it. It only took a few minutes to set it up. I'm glad I got a new version. My old Chromecast wasn't picking up the weak signal in my bedroom.

Loved it! Exactly what I was looking for! Can't beat the fact that is compatible with plenty of devices and you can control it from your phone.

I have one in my living room & one in the bedroom... Makes streaming from the tablet/phone a breeze - especially YouTube videos... Highly Recommend it!

I recently purchased this item I am pleased with my experience I have my phone hooked up to it and stream movies to my older TV works great.

Works much better than the original. Now I can use the upstairs TV for the same movies I used to have to watch in the living room. Setup was easy.

The chromecast is great for media display on the tv

Google Chrome gets paired to any mobile device of my choice and gives me freedom to watch not just video but Complete mobile screen on TV. Loved it.

I own 5 of these one for each bed room in the house. From watching network apps to playing angry birds on the 55 inch chrome cast is the way to go!

Not a whole lot to say here other than the more flexible form factor is a big improvement over the first generation. The interface gets a little bit more of an updated look. As with most things Google, configuration and operation are a breeze - not sure how much easier they can possible make it. I still wish they would provide a secondary shorter Micro USB cable to power the device with. I used a spare extra Micro USB I had laying around to plug into my TV's 5V USB port. This powers the Chromecast and eliminates the need to run a dedicated AC cord down the wall.

I have the original Chromecast that's why I bout this one for another TV. They are a great deal and I can easily share what is on my phone to the TV.

Screen casting doesn't work for nfl mobile........

For those looking to stream on their HDTV, the chromecast is a nice way to stream content like Youtube, Twitch, etc. While the chromecast may not allow 4K, the performance is good for its value.

This device works great and the only down size i's that you need WiFi at all time. Other then that it works great cast good quality

I actually wanted something a little different and cheaper but this works great so far and it didn't cost much more than I wanted to spend.

Got a great buy on a great item. This was my second one, received first as a gift. It does what is expected and a great value for an upgrade to your TV.

Love that I can use my PC, Tablet and phone to play anything I want on my tv's. This was my second one since, one for work and one for home. Only complaint is it will intermittently disconnect.
