We have Had Roku and chrome. Both are great but chrome is less expensive and works just as well for us so we went with that.

My whole family loves the fact that we can stream shows from our devices to the tv. It has been a nice addition to our house

I just wish this too had a standalone simple remote like Roku. I do not like to have to use phone or tablet, though it is a good option to have.

I use this on my older non-4k TV. works flawlessly. I also got this on sale during black Friday.

Google Chromecast is just an absolutely great gadget for streaming everything. Love the fact that I can cast my actual home screen on any tv through Google Home when using and Android device. This has helped me cut down my cable bill by allowing me to eliminate every cable box at home but one. Not fully ready to go all in on the CTC front but being able to cast any Channel who's app may not be Chromecast compatible yet but playable on my cable company's app is sweet.

I bought this product for my 80+ year old parents. It was easy to install and they are very pleased with its performance.

Works great, exactly as described. My favorite feature is being able to cast the screen of my android to the tv via hdmi.

The video and audio versions of Chromecast work well and are easy to set up. Easy to "cast" from any PC, tablet, or phone.

Tried this, then a Fire Stick. Ended up getting a Roku Premiere Plus for $50 from Best Buy. If you can find a similar deal, it’s definitely worth the extra money. Really didn’t think much of the Chromecast.

Upgraded to the version 2 from the earlier one due to getting YouTube TV. Definitely is a faster experience.

Google Chromecast is so easy to set up and use. A few minutes out of the box and I was able to cast content from my phone, laptop, and tablet to my TV. Great product!

I bought the Chromecast to use for my daughter's dorm room. It is so easy to set up, just make sure you have WiFi connection.

Works perfectly as described. We were worried about it slowing down our Internet but it doesn't. There is no lag.

We received our chromecast as a gift. In the 6 months we've had it, it's become pretty much the only way we watch TV. It will mirror your phone so even if an app doesn't have a 'cast' option (like the Facebook app), you can still view the video on your TV! Probably my favorite feature is the photo album. You can create an album in your chromecast app that will serve as a screensaver so your TV essentially becomes a digital photo album! My friends and family love seeing their stupid faces on my TV!

Got it on sale for $25!! It works very well and have nothing but praise for the Google Chromecast! Definitely a great buy!

In purchasing this little item, I was able to effectively turn my regular TV into a Smart TV. I am able to "mirror" my tablet or smartphone content wirelessly to my TV! (hint) The instructions say in order to do this you need an "internet wifi" connection but there is a way around this (see youtube). I was able to mirror my Note 4 to my Insignia TV and I don't have internet in my house. I get movies, Pandora, anything I get on my smartphone that has unlimited data plan on my TV...way cool!

The Google Chromecast is the best TV product I have ever used. I bought this for my mother and she loves it. If you love chilling on your sofa on the tv you should buy this product. Everything is controlled through your internet is and remotely accessed through any android or apple device. You can do multiple things at once, for example, you can cast a video from your phone then answer a voice call while the video is playing! THIS IS A PRODUCT I RECOMMEND!
