Tried this, then a Fire Stick. Ended up getting a Roku Premiere Plus for $50 from Best Buy. If you can find a similar deal, it’s definitely worth the extra money. Really didn’t think much of the Chromecast.

The Chromecast is easy to use and has many more apps that it can be used for to link the tv to phone or computer.

Works great for sites that require flash and the smart tv couldn't download it. Very cool product for a reasonable price.

Easy to set up and use. I got it when it was on sale for $25. Having 2 of these on the house makes steaming things easy.

Google Chromecast is just an absolutely great gadget for streaming everything. Love the fact that I can cast my actual home screen on any tv through Google Home when using and Android device. This has helped me cut down my cable bill by allowing me to eliminate every cable box at home but one. Not fully ready to go all in on the CTC front but being able to cast any Channel who's app may not be Chromecast compatible yet but playable on my cable company's app is sweet.

I recommand the chromecast I don't use it that often because it doesn't have a remote however I do recommended I enjoy watching old shows such as Green Acres in my 3 sons that otherwise might not be able to

I use these chromecast when travelling because i have 3 children. it's really awsome. Inexpensive and delivery was fast.

Actually pretty cool... Can simply press a button on my phone any even if my tv is off, it turns on and tunes right in. Legit.

I'd recommend these to my friends and family. I use this to stream youtube playlist thru my tv and surround sound system.

The Chrome is great if you don't have a smart tv, you have everything from Netflex to Hulu and much more to look at. You can also control it from your phone or laptop.

Chromecast is a more convenient option than using an HDMI cable to connect my devices to the TV. However there are times when there is some lag. Overall not too bad.

Bought this device to help my mom to broadcast off of a tablet. It was pretty easy to set up and broadcast right away. So far no glitches with connecting and casting.

once I got it installed and figured out how to use it I found it easy to use and saved me $ because I got rid of my over priced cable and only pay for the internet

I bought this to replace the laptop we would hook up to our TV to watch Netflix and what not in our bedroom. It does have nice features such as being able to stream from pretty much any device with click of one button. Also the fact that you can run it in the background and surf the Web on your tab is nice. The biggest drawback I experienced was the reliability. I've only had it a couple mos but there have already been a handful of times it just glitches out and won't work. And about once a week it just won't stream. It will load for 2 seconds and u watch 2 seconds of the show then load again and that's just not worth it.
