The Google Chromecast provides a great way to cast from your iPad or iPhone to your TV. Installation and setup is easy. I purchased an additional Chromecast for travel as it is to hook up in hotels and rental houses to access entertainment from your devices. The Chromecast is compact and convenient for travel. You may want to consider purchasing a longer power cord for travel as you never know how far a power source will be from the TV.

This is a superb streaming device that works with most mobile devices! It's has plenty of entertainment options from TV show networks, Movie Channels, and streaming music services. Easy to set up and easy to use! Love it!

I was looking for a way to cast my Netlfix and HBO Go apps onto my VIZIO (no smart feature) and this was the answer to my prayers. It's so easy to set up - I can use my iPhone or my iPad. Very affordable as well. Keep in mind there's no remote - you will be asked to download the App to your smartphone or tablet and you control it (fast forward, pause, rewind etc.) from your device. The clarity is perfect and no delay or buffering. If your TV has an extra USB slot - that's perfect. since it's powered that way. If not, it comes with a regular plug so make sure you have the capacity to keep it powered. My TV only has one so I bought a USB port that can connect multiple USB devices. Lastly, there are a ton of apps that are supported by Chrome cast - make sure the ones you want are on there before you buy. They are all listed on their web site. Plug in and enjoy!

i used this item for a gift for my 68 years old father, he just love the chromecast, now he use it every time he has free, it's very friendly with old people and very helpful if you don't have a smart tv.

This device is simple and easy hook up. Easy to use and very convenient. I'm a simple guy with very little knowledge of today's technology and I found this device very easy to use.

This is my first Chromecast, although I had very briefly used one at work. Setup was simple. I use it mostly for streaming video from an iPad using the Netflix and Hulu apps. It's responsive and works. No problems at all.

Already have a previous generation chromecast for one TV and wanted this for my new one. It works as expected, setup was a breeze as before, but i see better quality video, smoother interface and an overall slick interface.

I purchased it about couple weeks ago and attached it to my 32" LCD TV. Immediately, I can access the rich Internet-based streaming contents and services such as Youtube, Hulu plus, and much more. It saved my money by cutting the cable TV programming subscription.

My husband and kids love to watch DIY you tube videos for wood working so by casting YT on the TV it makes it a lot easier for them to do the work while following step by step instructions on the tv instead of their phone.

Our main big (58") tv is older by today standards and is not SMART nor uhd but it does have hdmi and usb ports. So instead of buying a newer tv to be able to watch netflix, amazon etc., we decided to give this a try. If I had a slight difficulty or problem, it would've gone straight back to the store. But setup was easy and we were able to cast our favorite shows from netflix and amazon. And we did not have to fork out a lot of money for a newer tv which was just not in the budget! :)

Being a grandmother of 3 it's so easy to keep them occupied when they are tired of watching reruns on TV. I can now just put videos on the TV to make them dance and sing. I am so happy with this purchase and recommend it.

I am somewhat of a tech nerd to a certain degree and I do love the capabilities this device has for a low price. I will say after a couple months of using it, that a native remote leaves me wanting for more. The chromecast does everything you could want but the experience is lacking due to the missing remote. You'll find yourself wanting to pause a Netflix show easily but then you go into the Netflix app to find the "streaming now playing" piece missing. Thus making you start another show and then pausing that one. I do like the capability to cast from Windows computers and many devices in general.

I purchased this to stream videos from my laptop and tablet to my Samsung TV. The set up was quick and the device worked perfectly. The google chrome on the iPad however does not seem to be allowing the casting extension.

I have a couple Chromecasts at my house and we love them. We bought this one for my in-laws house so we could watch movies from our devices over there. I love my Chromecast and especially love that you can get it at $35.

We own two of these and my wife and I use them frequently to stream online content. When we recently visited family I bought one for my brother and another for my daughter and they now love them as well.

I purchased this product without really knowing what I was going to use it for; it was more of a novelty. I tried a few different things and found what works best for me. Now I use this all the time on my living room TV. I use it to steam Spotify, Netflix, YouTube, and Hulu mostly. It is an amazing and very useful product that has changed the way I use my TV, eliminated the problem of outdated smart apps, and made the whole experience more enjoyable.

I've already owned a previous version of the chromecast, this new one even better i would recommend an upgrade from the previous one, aesthetically i like this new design and plus its newer. Who doesn't like an upgrade.

Great device. this is my third purchase. The experience of casting, particularly from android, on big TV screen though this device is amazing. Super easy to setup. Aesthetically pleasant looking device.
