    You can easily cast from your phone with certain apps, but if you're using iOS, the supported apps are few in number. Music won't work from iTunes or Amazon Music. Podcasts are no good. On Android, you can cast your whole screen, which opens up a lot of options, but with iOS, you'll probably only be using YouTube. Luckily, it's priced pretty low now that the 4K models are available.
