    You have to set this up on your wi-fi network in order for it work. If you take it somewhere else, like a friends house, you have to go through the setup process again using their wi-fi network and password. Once setup this works fairly well on android tablets. If you have a ipad you will have to buy an app for this to work. There are some free apps but they are limited to what you can display, like pictures. If you want to display something else like videos, you need another app for that.
