Love it with one exception

A great device to have!

I really like the improvements in this version, so we got two of them! It works great, I like the flexible hdmi cable, and I love the google home integration. I can just shout out and tell my house to play music in the living room and it just happens! Screen sharing is also really useful.

So far it works great and allows my phone to be the remote control which proves to be handy. It does not interfere with incoming/outgoing calls or anything else on the phone. When I am not watching tv it acts as a screen saver with google photos weather etc. I will be purchasing another one for my upstairs TV!

Fantastic, Be Aware Of It's Functionality
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Chromecast is often thought of as competing with the Apple TV, but that's not exactly true. The Chromecast has a very limited UI, focused more on using the UI on your smart devices that you already own to create a familiar and seemless user experience. For what this product does (allowing you to project media content onto a larger display), it does a fantastic job. I would definitely recommend, as long as you have done your research, and its capabilities suffice your needs.

Good for pushing video from phone to TV

It wasn't as "plug and play" as the 3-step installation instructions suggested, but I was able to get tech support from Chromecast. Because MLB.TV doesn't currently support the version of software used by my Samsung Smart TV, I use Chromecast to watch MLB.TV, pushing it from my phone to my TV.
