Whenever I take it with me, I have to go through the trouble of setting it up on WiFi networks I have already used it on. I use it at my house and at other's. Would be nice if it remembered networks. I have an S4...android phone. Seems like a no-brainer to build in screen casting. And, not being able to cast a tab from Chrome for Android is a real head scratcher. Streaming Netflix results in low-quality resolution. I have a fast broadband connection and a hefty ASUS RT-N66U router that gives me at least 20Mbps according to SpeedTest on my S4, iPad Air, and laptop in the same location. If it's any consolation, the Chronecast gives better Netflix than the TV's built-in Netflix app.

If your transmitting device is farther or in another room, signal may not be est. otherwise, works great. Some latency between device and Chromecast connected tv on occasion. It’s been a few years, still kicking it.
