This streamer is awesome it mirrors my PC (it's experimental) and plays my netflix and hulu with great clarity. With CEC enabled on your tv it wil auto switch your tv input once you wake the device! It is great for people who understand that this is a streaming device, not a full blown Roku/media player with a remote control.

I like this since I don't have a gaming system in my living room, but I am not happy about the limited amount of apps that are compatible with it. I wld recomennd it for a BDRM if u don't watch too much TV in there.

Compatibility problems with my internet providers' proprietary modem. I've had the device for about 2 months and it's such a hassle trying to get everything to link up that I've back-burnered it. Maybe permanently. This is a common piece of equipment and I would've expected Google to make ChromeCast compatible. The compatibility issues are noted when you go to the trouble-shooting site but it would be nice to be clearly warned before making the purchase. Probably a great little device when it can be used. I can't recommend this to a friend without the caveat, "research the compatibility issues before you purchase."

I can use chromecast right from my phone to my tv.

Very nice to see netflix with my family.Easy to install. Perfect when you Travel with your son and you can ser Youtube, hbo plus or netflix. You need a wifi conection and is sincronice with iOS or android product. Very easy to setup and with a great price. Only 35 Dol. I love This Google project You need and hdmi television

I'm a google user but this device didn't make the cut, takes to long to load up have to use your phone or ipad, I just rather use my sony dvd player loads faster and you don't have to have a phone t use it.

Simple to use works with any device amazing price!

We have one in our master bedroom and absolutely love it! We ended up purchasing three more on Black Friday for our children's bedeooms to hook up to their iPads ri watch Netflix. installation was pretty painless and so fast! The boys are loving being able to connect their iPads up to the chrom cast to watch Netflix.

Had to update and now it wont cast from my Galaxy Tab.

It works flawlessly and price was very reasonable.

I bought my chromecast unintentionally with my son's recommendation and it was really excellent to the fact that i dont have to have a snart tv to be able to watch online shows like netflix,Pandora and so many others.i would definitely recommend it .

I was excited to get this and get rid of my HDMI cable, but when I got it home and set up I discovered that there was a lot of jerkiness to the picture on my tv, but it was fine on my laptop. Turns out that I need a higher wi-fi speed than I have if it's to work well. It would have been nice to have that info more readily available on the packaging.
