I have my own Chromecast and just recently bought one for my parents. Easy to set up if you have basic internet knowledge. Google keeps on supporting Chromecast by adding new features. Just recently Google added screen mirroring feature for certain devices with more devices to be added in the future. Great product!

The Chromecast is works as indicated but with flaws. I own an Apple TV, Roku Stick, Firetv, Neo TV and now the Chromecast. I have to say the Chromecast is a neat addition but if I did not have the others it would not suffice. The Chromecast is slow and does not opporate smoothly. The Chromecast will freeze up at times or not load the content. The Apple TV if you are an iPhone ipad user is a must. You can mirror your phone which means everything on your phone can be displayed onto your TV. This includes games, video, pictures music, Internet or anything else you do on your phone.

Before Chromecast, I used to think twice before searching something in YouTub App in my DVD player due to bad input interface (Remote), but now no thinking required - thanks to choices available for interfacing.

We wanted to be able to watch Netflicks on TV instead of just computer and/or ipad. This did the trick. However we have had occassional streaming issues where we just had to unplug it from the back of the tv and plug it in again. Not a big deal but kind of a pain.

Very nice device. Make sure that you have a really good internet connection because it does allow you stream wirelessly from your laptop. I plan to purchase one for every TV in my home. I do recommend purchasing one just to see if it is something that you would like.

It is good a product, but not completely developed yet. It is in beta stage. Video streaming is not as fast as expected. Cheaper than any other available products. Hopefully it gets updated soon for everyone's use.

This was easy to attach and setup. There are some drawbacks such as not being able to broadcast TV via your cable provider but still lots of options and uses. Makes sharing from your Windows Surface very easy.

The Chromecast is awesome. The only downside is that it's limited with what you can stream from your device. I'm sure Google is working on this, so it's only a matter of time until there are more options. Would be very nice to be able to send files from your own library.

just spend the extra $ for a Roku; it is worth it.

WHILE THIS IS A GOOD PRODUCT, IF YOU DONT HAVE A LOT OF MEMORY FREE IT GETS STUCK SEVERAL TIMES DURING THE BROADCAST. ALSO, IT WOULD BE NICE TO BE ABLE TO SEND NON-INTERNET ITEMS TO MY TELEVISION. OVERALL IT IS A GOOD PRODUCT THOUGH AND WOULD RECOMMEND IT TO OTHERS.

Does what it says. However can not stream without net

Really recomend it! Your older tv will be enhanced by this small and cheap Google divise. You can almost quit your reg. cable or dish. If you have Internet, you can enjoy Netflix and more on your tv. Devise. It's cheaper than buying a smart Tv or DVD player with Internet connection. Speed internet needed!!!

How much are smart TVs going for nowadays? Not to say that my new TV purchase 3 years ago was a bad one. But smart TVS were even more expensive then! My Google Chrome cast turns my TV into one of those fancy stance smart TVs without all the extra cost! Absolutely love this device and can't recommend it enough!
