Great price for the device. Works for both ios and android. When I cast something to the chromecast it automatically turns the tv on or switches the input to it. At the moment not many apps support it but I'm sure with its popularity that will change.

For the price this is a cool way to watch certain things on your TV that are on your tablet or PC. Chromecast needs to continue to add supported apps that you can cast directly from. Overall this is a cool way to turn your normal TV into a smart TV.

We love that we can watch programs that our local programing doesn't offer and cable TV is so expensive. It's a extra bill that we can not fit into our budget. It's sad that we have to pay to watch TV. At least with Chromecas our family can view some programming that otherwise we could not watch..

I liked my first one so much that I bought a second. I love the idea that I have a small device that I can take anywhere and have access to a ton of content as long as I have an internet connection. With the addition of Vudu compatibility recently, this thing is on it's way to being a must own.

Google has the chance to see what you want, and use what you want to see how you get it. It's a great product, but makes you realize how everything is being tracked now more than ever. Works very well, glitches - there's another device logged on and you don't know so you can't log on - not intuitive.

Unlike most other set top boxes or streaming devices, like the Roku 2 etc the Chromecast acts like a window through which you broadcast media. It is purely a receiver and has no real interface of its own to navigate around, solely reliant on the commands from your computer, smartphone or tablet.

This thing has alot of nice features but from what I saw in order to stream netflix you need to have your phone running and then cast it. So I have to keep my phone plugged in while watching a movie. I didn't like that aspect so I returned it.

I use this for so many things. I can stream to any of the tv's in my house since all have one of these. I just choose what I want to stream from my computer. A movie, my desktop, etc. The only downside is setting it up if I try to take it somewhere else-like a hotel-then it becomes tricky.

This is an excellent device for streaming media to your television from Netflix, Google Movies/Music, and YouTube. Very simple installation and use. It's definitely not a device to replace GoogleTV; however, for what it is, it's an exceptional device.

Product is as described, works well with wifi and 1080p resolution. Lots of good apps can stream wirelessly plus a new feature you can stream your mobile device screen to your TV (at least on android devices). *Beware that a good wifi router and internet service are needed for good results.

When it works it works great. Had issues setting up a unit at a siblings house - wifi signal was strong on all other devices (nexus, iphones, laptops) but chrome didn't want to connect. Had to move base station closer to the TV to get connected.

Bought this device 3 months back and use it a lot. Easy to pull up not just youtube but also other browsers with this device to quickly pull it on the T.V. Only issue I have is that for some website's it starts to slow or halt when the same will run smooth on a laptop. All in all, great device.

I like to watch a lot of Hulu, Netflix, and YouTube on my iPad. Sometimes though, you just want to see things a lot bigger, and the video you want isn't yet on cable or satellite. Chromecast is an excellent way to get the shows you watch onto your TV without lengthy cords strewn about the room.

I am a big Google Product user. I have Samsung S3 phone, Samsung Tab 3 10.1 Tablet, and use Gmail. This was an easy choice and so far I am happy with the product. Looking forward to more application support. HBO Go is awesome with the Chromecast

Easy setup. Product works well however if your wifi is not strong it does lag. HBO would sometimes only play sound when running. Using iPad with this device. Still prefer the Apple TV for the iPad but for my laptop the google chromecast works well.

Chromcast works well with the apps that are Chromecast approved. It will not send your all of the music on your iPhone to your stereo. At least not yet for me, I may not have found the correct app for that. Video (U tube) looks great on 60" HDTV.

If you have any other device like Roku, not much useful with chrome cast. Limited channels. Casting from the computer is slow and freezes even after suggested settings. If you don't have any other device then Google chrome cast is worth the price.

Chromecast is a superb product. I use it everyday and would buy again. If you watch Netflix, Hulu, etc., it is invaluable for casting to your TV from your PC or your phone. Thanks to Best Buy for selling this product and at a reasonable fair price.

I like this Chromecast... but its not great.I purchased it to run show box and it works great but you have to run a seperate app just so Chromecast can pick it up. It on runs google app just as a heads up.but if that what you use it for good

Overall great value for the price, initially only had a small hiccup with setup, but it worked out once I tinkered with it. Dont buy if you want it to "mirror" what you have on your phone/tablet, it only works with chromecast compatible apps.
