What needs to be said that hasn't been about this product. You can't beat it's capability for the money. I already had a few media players. I got this because of the buzz about it and it came with 3 months of Netflix. I'm really enjoying it. It's already money well spent.

I purchased this as a gift for a friend who just got a new tv. He didn't want to subscribe to cable or get a Roku box. This was a great alternative. The piece was right and all the features he would use were available. I would definitely recommend this to someone else.

Greatt device for people who cant afford a smart tv but have usb port on their hd tv

Pretty good, but presently missing better selection of apps. Hopefully more will come. Noticed a lot of buffering, had blu ray streamer beforeand didnt have as much issues.

I did not buy a smart TV as i thought chromecast will take care of the streaming. The chromecast worked fine for a month but after a month it started having problems with streaming. Chromecast works fine for Netflix and Youtube but when it comes to projecting your browser on the TV it starts having buffering issue. Also the chromecast projects only 720P as the maximum quality. The lowest standard (480p) also creats buffering issues while streaming the Laptop's browser to the TV. Reseting the chromecast also doesnot resolve the issue. I will not recommend this product to anyone. Instead invest in a HDMI cable.

I own a roku and thought would try the chromecast after all of the positive reviews, however was not happy with it. Could not get the mirror box on my Samsung tablet or my iPhone. And did not like not having a remote

I love this product for YouTube and more recently Real Player cloud for personal videos. I wish there were more apps but I like the fact that you can cast Chrome's browser from a laptop. Looking forward to more compatible apps and updates. Great product for the money.

I was a little skeptical at first, but after I got going it is great. I now how Netflix, YouTube, or Pandora in any room that I have a TV. Very little lag between either tablet and TV or phone and TV. Its great for anyone that doesn't have the dough for a "smart TV".

This is a convenient way to watch shows on the TV from the internet. Being wireless makes it very convenient. However, it sometimes shuts itself off when you're watching a show if your internet speed is not able to keep up.

Things started slow for Chromecast, but have been much better with lots of apps that now work with it. We used it for MLB TV, worked great, share YouTube videos and even Flixter now seems to work. Worth every penny, we have 3 of these hooked up around the house.

For $35, this product is unbeatable. Stream hbogo, youtube, netflix and others from your computer or phone with ease. The chrome browser screen mirroring let's you watch movie streaming sites on your tv.

Small, compact, and hidden away. Sucks to have to take up a usb port and hdmi or skip the usb and plug this device into an outlet. Yep it need powers, but whatever it works great. Cool to see my Chrome browser tabs mirrored on my tv, basically looking at any website.

All the important apps are supported, but there are still a few that I would love to see supported. But this item is amazing, gives all the functionality of a smart TV without paying $100+ for a smart tv. Your smart phone or tablet acts as a remote which I love.

This is a great device for someone that does not have a smart device like a blu-ray player. Make sure you have a strong internal network because the response between the Chromecast and the tablet or phone can be slow.

This is a great, inexpensive way to convert my television set into a really big computer monitor. I use it for Netflix movies, Youtube videos, and just to share stuff with my partner so we don't need to look over each other's shoulder. Fabulous value for the money!

It doesn't like to work from my Android products and sometimes loses connections from all devices for no reason at all. I do like that I can use my computer/other device for other uses while I'm watching the chrom cast.

Very easy to install and works exactly as claimed. Very slight delay from computer screen to TV screen due to using Chrome server as feed forward medium. Content presently limited by need to "cast" from Google Chrome.

I primarily bought this to stream movie files from my computer to my TV. There is a small lag between and the picture quality is diminished. Can't wait for the next release.

Overall value for money is great as compared to Roku. All sites on your chrome browser easily ported to your TV wirelessly. Only problem is that at times porting is slow so leads to interruption in video being viewed on TV.

Would like to see more available apps. I use it for you tube and Netflix and more access to the web would be great. I have recommended this to all of my friends and family. I'm sure they will all end up with at least one.
