All in all, this is a good product with a great idea behind it. My biggest complaint is the fact that not all videos are broadcast clearly on the tv. Certain sites, like Youtube, will connect and play only on the tv and allow you to navigate with the computer. Other sites do not function in the same way and the video plays on both the computer and the tv. There is probably a way to clear this up, but I don't know it and haven't taken the time to find out. Still a worthwhile product.

This is a perferct item if your TV is not a Smart TV. Youtube and Netflix work great but tab straming disconnects very often.

Lots of potential here, now that Google has released the SDK...sometimes the wireless signal BEHIND my TV, far away from the router cuts out which results in buffering, or disconnection....but that's mostly on me.

It seems easy to set up at first, all goes along fine. Then it tells youthe only way you can control it is with either a cell phone or a tablet. It not be possible to use the TV remote or a Direct TV remote.

Very good product. but rarely comes on deals. For a USB device, it should be smaller to give a better fit. Kind of stretches the USB and HDMI ports in the TVs

Over all an essential item for those who want access to Netflix, You Tube and other apps that don't have a " smart tv " by utilizing an Apple or Android device.

I bought this because I thought it was a great idea for people who do not have a Smart TV. IT is simple to install in the HDMI input. Then you can watch Netflix You Tube or other apps on your TV at a reasonable cost

Since I bought it I opened it, and I loved it because it is too big for the things the it does!. I liked it, the trouble is that there is a lot to do with it, just watch netflix and youtube from the phone; should have more functions to use it to the fullest.

Small issue for some TVs: It needs either a USB port on TV to get power or if one accessible, another ugly wire to a 110v wall outlet. Plus it Requires an iPad or iPod to control programming. You have to remember to keep one or the other fully charged.

Great little device for what it does, but too early in development to be of much use beyond You Tube and Netflix. I would like to see Google open up the development to third party and open source developers quicker.

It was a breeze to setup and took no time at all before I was watching Netflix. I wish there were more apps that supported this device but I guess I have to wait a little longer and see what happens.

Good product with worth $35 . Easy to install and setup .. Worth buying it .. Having issues sometimes when connected to netflix .. But overall the product is good

I like the product. Great idea. Apparently chrome cast used to work when you tried to view videos from your phone not purchased through Google Play. Once you install it, you'll see an UPDATE. This is where Google disables the free viewing feature. Now you're limited to only 4 apps that work on this. If you're happy with that, then by all means, buy this product. I've read several articles and each has said that Google will eventually allow the free viewing feature to return one day.

The Google Chromecast works perfect for connecting my MacBook Air to my home TV. I was going to buy the Apple product for this and my son told me to save my money and purchase the Chromecast...I'm so glad I did!

It may well deserve a five star rating but the fact of the matter is that, to date, I haven't used it that much. The reasonable price allowed me to purchase now so it would be available if and when I need it.

This is an amazing product for $35 - it works well though requires a high quality wifi connection (our router is on the other side of the house). Great product for those who need more options as to what to watch!

This is a great start--needs a little bit more polish to be 5 star. There were times I had to wait a while for the video to show, and it stuttered at times. But you can't beat the price, well worth what you pay.

It is great to be able to stream my Netflix account on my big screen tv. I do notice some lag issues that cannot be caused by my internet.(I have 100mbps) Of those issues were fixed, this would get 5 stars.

I really want to love this device but as an IOS user i did not find that there was enough that I could do with it to justify sacrificing one of my hdmi ports to it.

Ordered the chromecast online and it was immediately available for pickup. Cust service was wonderful and so is the product. I am able to mirror my cell phone and computer on the big screen.
