It didn't work at first but once I had the AT&T uverse folks change the settings on my wireless router it worked GREAT. I am streaming most everything on my phone to my TV. My TV was older so no USB but luckily my cable box had a USB to plug it in.

Great little device, i just wish it was more compatible with the iPad. The features are a bit limited, but I'm hoping that future updates will expand the features.

I just got this. Not sure if all I can really watch are NetFlix and YouTube but I hope not, otherwise, not worth it. I hope to figure out more ways to use it.

I don't like this because there's always a lot of buffering when trying to watch a movie, games don't load very well.

I have bough over 4 devices already for my friends. Everyone is very happy with Chromecast. The best part is when you are able to stream the whole screen of your cell phone right into the tv screen. Very convenient when you do not have a smart tv.

Made the HDMI cable irrelevant! Especially after the mirroring feature in android it had become so easy to view any app on the big screen.. Streaming from the laptop via chrome needs to be improved though..

This product is great for those who do not have the smart t.v features on their t.v. you can purchase this product and watch the apps you have on your smartphone or tablet onto the t.v. such as netflix, hulu, MLB tv, youtube,, etc.. pretty neat..

Supossely to work for Samsung smart phone won't work from my phone at all but will work for my friend Samsung phone waste of money for something o can't use

I have been searching for the solution to cast pics and videos on TV from both iPhone android phones, until I came across Chromecast. The feature to cast anything on my phone screen on TV makes me very satisfied. I am glad I bought this product.

If you don't have a smart t.v. chrome cast will do it. It requires Wi-Fi and a mobile device. Great way of sharing videos, photos, and music on a t.v. for a large group. At the price of $35 it is worth it.

Chromecast is a simple to set up device for getting content from YouTube and other services to your TV, controllable by your tablet or smartphone. The only thing I'm waiting for is the ability for smaller developers to make Chromecast compatible apps.

the only problem is that the sound seems to flutter or "skip" periodically. Now, having said that, it could be my wireless router not being powerful enough to reach my TV. Regardless, a very good device.

I love how I can use my phone for all the video apps to cast and control a video. My new smart tv won't even do that. Only with Netflix and YouTube.

I'll start with I wanted to get rid of my PS3 in my bedroom, but didn't want to lose my HBO GO and Netflix when it went to my living room. I bought this because it seemed to be what I was looking for. The setup was okay, but I didn't like that it had to be plugged into an outlet for aesthetic purposes. Secondly, it as no physical remote, so your phone or tablet must act as one. Opening apps through the phone or tablet, is easy but finding the chromecast logo to broadcast was tedious, as was forward and rewind. Playback was choppy, and buffering was on all playback at the beginning.

I travel quite a bit in a fifth wheel. I am now able to use this device to open up my viewing opportunities when not able to hookup in an area with cable. I turn on my "hot spot" and am able to view Netflix with ease and makes me feel right at home.

Great for sending video from your smartphone or tablet to your big screen if it's from one of the supported apps such as YouTube or Netflix. Not good for personal video from your computer from my experience.

For 35 bucks this is awesome. No need for VGA cords anymore as long as you can put what you want to display in a chrome tab. Netflix app is very handy. Only downside my projector has no audio out so I have to listen to the speakers on my projector.

LOVE THIS PRODUCT. DON'T OWN CABLE AND USE ONLY NETFLIX, HULU AND FEEDS FOR SPORTS.. CAN STREAM ALL OF THESE THINGS DIRECTLY TO MY TV. I RECOMMENDED THE CHROMECAST TO ALL OF MY FRIENDS AND FAMILY AND WILL DEFINITELY BE BUYING THESE AS CHRISTMAS GIFT.

The Chromecast is the new thing that will keep me in bed all day watching movies. The only thing I wish is that more apps would utilize being cast onto TV's through this device. It's a wonderful new thing and VERY affordable for the value it gives.

I must say that Google is thinking about the future. This is a very good product for the price. Still have problems displaying or emulating the pc screen. I really hope they perfect this in the near future.
