A great wireless streaming device. They are supposed to come out with more and more apps to stream from device to TV. So far I've had good quality streaming with no loss in sound/picture.

I was hesitant to purchase this item thinking that the quality of reception Nd streaming would be at a poor level, but have been pleasantly surprised as to the ease in which I use it and how great the quality of TV clarity. It's a WINNER!!!

I own three of these and love them all the only problem I have is that there are not enough options. I need to download 3rd party apps to be able to see pictures and videos from my phone on my tv.

The product is great for the price, but it wouldn't work with my wireless network. I went with a dongle and works the same just not the wireless aspect.

It was a headache setting up the Chromecast with the home Wi-Fi network. Finally after hours i was able to successfully make it work and stream videos through my tablet and iphone. Also if the chromecast is left idle for some time and it goes in to that screen saver mode, my phone & tablet does not discover the Chromecast any more. I have to reboot the chromecast & / router to make it discoverable. Its just irritating and device is not worth the headache !! Once it connects though Videos play good via Youtube & Netflix. Streaming through Laptop becomes slow and hangs a lot. Waste of time !!

Fantastic unit. Only wish they would integrate some flash storage to allow for locally installed apps so it is not dependent on tablets, phones, etc.

Purchased on sale to use to stream shows from my android device to the larger screen. Works great but you are limited to what content you can stream. Would like more content to select from to make it more useful. Hopefully more is coming soon.

I returned this streaming device because the sales person neglected to tell us that it did not come with a remote controller (like the Roku). You must use your smart phone or computer to control.

I love this streaming media player. There are just times that it's so hard to set up if you move it to different networks. But i am happy with mine. If you are planning to use this to just your home tv only, id definitely recommend this

The chromecast just got better. At first it was a simple way to watch certain apps like Netflix, youtube, etc. Now it supports over 100 apps and the best part it supports miracast. I suggest get it while it is still at a reasonable price.

I had to do some digging to find out how I could play a DVD on TV using Chromecast. Turns out I need to convert all videos to MP4. I wish I'd had been easier. Otherwise, a cool tool for the price.

Finally a device where my computer doesn't haven't to be connected to my tv. I can even use my phone or tablet to stream directly on my tv. Google has gone above and beyond with chrome cast and it's much more affordable than roku or Apple TV

This is a great stick. Google has made the first advance towards a cordless home theater. All it needs is audio support for the desktop mirror mode and then it would be perfect. I'm crossing my fingers for audio support in the next update.

it was okay, working as described. but i was quite disappointed when I found out it is not so good when working with non-youtube and netfilx contents.

The device works great. My parents had a cord running from their laptop to their tv. The dogs were always running through with the wire laying there so I bought them a chrome cast and no more almost broken laptop. Wireless is always better.

The product is as good as advertised but currently has limited uses but good potential if they keep adding to it.

I simply needed a device to play netflix and I got so much more! It can play Pandora and anything that is on your computer screen! I did not need all the fancy things that came with an apple tv. Chrome cast is awesome and super affordable

We're senior citizens and not tech savvy. Chromecast allows us to bring a world of entertainment into our home with just a couple taps on our tablet.

Love the product, sometimes it takes a min to connect and is a little slow but overall pretty awesome device. Would like to have a remote like the Roku but can see how it isn't really necessary.
