Pros: Works great for groups viewing web content. Cons:A bit disappointed that I can only view web content and am not able to view photos and or applications located on my hard drive

With chrome I have access to Netflix, YouTube, espn go, pandora and much more.Better yet also install it on your browser and you can view your laptop or computer directly on your TV.

It is nice to be able to watch videos on a non smart TV. It took several calls to google, belkin , and best buy to get the chromecast set up. No one was able to help me until my 3rd call to google. The chromecast would not connect to my network with an approved router. I had to change settings and download a few things before it work. After that it works fine, now.

Cool item for price. You pull up something like u-tube and can stream through the tv. If you don't have an xbox or play station it's a cheap way to watch netflix or music through your tv.

I was completely confused how to use this product since it doesn't come with a helpful manual but after looking online at the google page it was easy to figure out. I like it since any device I'm using at the moment can be used.

This makes all of those "let me show you what I found" moments possible on the big screen! It's much better than watching a YouTube video on a phone or tablet when you can see it on your 50" TV! (or however big your TV is)

This refreshing product is awesome and simple for YouTubers and Netflixers. Beta feature in chrome tab works but lags and video obviously not smooth, but as it says it's beta.

Great thought behind it.....Thought it would 'accept' more apps, has very limited app selection.... Returned it and purchased Roku instead....

My TV has apps built on for Netflix-etc, PS3 to stream, used the iTV.... tried it all. For the price and the expandability and the fact that it is super easy to use....dont pass it up. Best streaming device ever that I have used.

When using google apps this works great and never fails but if you are trying to connect with a third party application it’s trivky and works sometimes.

I m russian and time to time want to watch sonething in russian. Cable charge $16 / month but I don't have time to watch. So I use apps and YouTube to watch. Really changed my mind about keeping expencive russian channels.

My wife and I were hesitate about using this chrome cast however it's been amazing. We can post anything from our mobile phones and immediately shows up on the TV. Awesome!

The ads and pictures of this unit makes you think all you have to do is plug this in and that is all. Well it is not all. It requires power and you have to plug in a cable and a power supply that plugs in the wall. If the ads showed that most people including myself would probably think twice before getting it. This is a cheaper alternative to the Roku. I do highly recommend the Roku over this more channels and a better unit in all.

This product is awesome. I travel often and I use this product as my media server to watch movies via Plex. No more renting expensive hotel movies or showing family videos on my phone..

It is good for the limited design it was created for. Wish the Chrome browser would work on iPads. I was hoping to take online classes displayed via chromcast on to my TV. Does not work.

had to return it,,it kept losing connection, receive it at a great price but didn't work for me

does what it says it will do. Price is reasonable. Just wish it had more content that more expensive devices like Roku and Apple TV offer.

Definitely compact but not as good as a traditional blu ray player. The streaming was not fast enough and had interruptions during casting. I exchanged it for smart blu ray player.

Love this product, just needed better directions for Netflix streaming. The actual installation was easy, but to get connected with my laptop and phone there were no directions!! After I figured it out it is great!! Love it!

This little dongle is changing the way people watch TV. The more app developers give access to the chromecast the better the unit will be. And even my wife can hook up to it with her iPhone and iPad. Great product for $35!
