I purchased this item for more TV options without realizing that later on it would be available to syncs up with Samsung Smarthings. So I guess that by being sort of dumb I was really being smart.

The Chromecast has been so easy to use. We used to use a Roku to stream, but the Chromecast has made it so much easier to stream anything we want from our computer. Super easy installation and well worth the cost.

This device is awesome! I receive it as a gift. I'm not a techie and it was so easy to install and operate. Casted from my PC to my HDTV in a matter of minutes!

Would really like to have a remote. I know you can use a phone or tablet, but a stand alone remote or ability to have a Harmony function it would be more useful a lot of the time.

I could not get it to work on my TV. It connected to the wifi but could never access the internet. I was really looking forward to using it but was utterly disappointed.

Great price and portable, excellent quality! I will highly recommend to friends and family, planning to get 2 more to connect to other TVs in the rooms. First device I got was for my family room tv and I'm impressed.

It is so easy to use the Chromecast and watch Netflix or Hulu from any tv in the house. You can find movies on your phone or laptop and they show up on your tv.

Google - Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player is great gadget for streaming video on TV in just a sec! Now I can use numerous of devices and stream on TV, my TV doesn't have to be wired anymore to one computer.

I have wanted one of these for awhile. We picked one up while snagging the Black Friday sales. It was easy to set up. It wows the relatives when we use it. I'm thinking I need two more for the other TV's in my house.

Meh.. gets the job done but nothing super about it. No bells and wistles like the roku. Slows down the wifi. Also you may have to mess with the router settings to make it work.

Perfect purchase for what we needed, bedroom tv is not internet ready and now we can watch netflix on it. Setup was somewhat challenging not super difficult but not the easiest.

An HDMI cable from a computer still works much better. I tried it for a day and when I found out it couldn't do more, I returned it.

with this product you get what you paid for. i like it a lot since i dont have to connect a hdmi cable to my laptop anymore .

Great device, this is my second purchase, bought first one out of curiosity, loved the way it worked so I purchased a second one for another TV. Planning on buying two more soon, one for each of the kids rooms.

I hope they develop more apps in the future. Better yet, they should do "Mirroring" like the Apple TV. That would be awesome! Having to see and control your smartphone on the TV.

Love being able to stream movies. Takes a little getting use to, at least for me. There are a couple of steps to perform each time and if you forget one, it's very frustrating.

I bought this hoping to pull content from Amazon Prime, but unfortunately it doesn't have that natively. I had to share content from my laptop to be able to view that. Aside from that everything else works great.

This device I would not ever buy again. It won't hold a connection and register to my phone. Not worth the money or frustration.

This gadget is absolutely fabulous. So easy to setup and use. Entire family is able to cast to it with whatever device they are currently using (tablets, phones, laptops, desktops). Video and sound quality is superb.
