Chrome cast worked all right with an IPAD. To use it with my desktop I had to get a wireless adapter. My model was connected to the WEB with an Ethernet cable.

Bought the Google - Chromecast HDMI Streaming Media Player for my husband for Christmas. He loves it, as he is now able to view so much more from his laptop onto the large screen tv! Very nice!!!!

Can play video's from cell or laptop without looking for cables or moving TV out looking for cables. Picture is clear.

At first, I was expecting to buy a more expensive receiver for my TV. Then, a representative from Best Buy suggested me the Chromecast... I was sceptical for a moment, but now, I am a happy user.

This product works but it still has a few bugs,it crashed twice during a 1 hour show but was not a problem to restart.Just had an update so maybe that will stop.For the price it works really well

For the price you cannot beat what this thing can do. Connection was a breeze. I like to use it with netflix and being able to move it to another set is a snap

Wow, this is a steal. I can now see anything I have in my computer browser on my 46" TV. Great for Hulu, YouTube, Cnet, etc. I just wish it would work with other things I have on my computer Videos.

Was hoping it would be just as good as the Apple TV for my Android tablet, but it's not. Don't really use it unless I need to get my laptop on the big screen.

If this guy could miracast it would be awesome device. I was looking for something that would do what my apple TV did with airplay. The content selection is very weak. Recently the device was opened up to developers to hopefully bring more content. will have to wait and see. One of the coolest things about Chromecast is that it can turn on your TV, and even change to the right HDMI input, when you start casting music or videos from your mobile device – no TV remote required.

I love it for netflix and YouTube, I just wih there was a way to play a movie from your computer, not online. Although I'm sure Google will develope an update.

With the Chromecast hooked up to my TV, I can watch any shows on Netflix, HBO Go and You Tube. I can even watch Google Play movies from my tablet. A much more comfortable viewing experience!

Have tried to use in my vacation home, with spotty results. Will keep trying to get a better response for streaming. Not sure if this is my wi-fi or the unit.

This device allows you to view everything on your computer on your HDTV, as well as many other features that come with it. It's a fantastic choice for those who a dedicated computer addicts.

This stick was helpful while it worked, as I could stream phone content to it, that is, whichever content was supported for this kind of streaming. The problem is, after a few months of occasional use, it stopped getting recognized although is still connected to the same port. I tried using other ports, it still didn't work. So I'd rate the quality as sub-par.

Somewhat confusing App to use with this. Needed to download additional app in order to cast photos from IPad. Not too excited with the choices for shows

Works great for netflix and youtube. More functions will come with time. Can only use browser from a laptop and not a tablet as the browser function is too cpu intensive for nexus and ipad devices.

Great for viewing pictures and videos from your android or Pc on your large TV. Trick is that it will only show material that is stored in Google's cloud.

I am actually quite unhappy with this purchase, I would prefer returning it. It limits the amount of volume, its slow and difficult to set up, not happy.

Great value... nice features for the cost of the device. Would recommend to a friend.

This product allows you to stream ANYTHING from your phone, including casting an image of the screen itself and whatever is on it. Great solution to expensive cable or monthly subscriptions.
