My Chromecast is awesome. We use Netflix a lot, so this saves us from having a Wii or PS3 on every TV in the house. Saves space and does the trick. I can't wait for more apps to come out!

I was Leary about trying this product because of the mix reviews but I gave in and I enjoy the things I can do on the chromecast

A neat device for casting media on to the TV, but limited. Hopefully future updates allow more freedom to cast personal videos and pictures, and not just from a handful of applications.

The Google Chromecast does exactly as it is advertised. I am able to watch HD TV and browse the web on my phone while watching it all on my HDTV. Nice!

Works for most apps and channels online. Doesn't work for FX app though. Does what I was wanting it to do.

I got this because my blue ray player's wifi was not that great. this little gadget works wonders, I use it with my Iphone and Ipad. ( even though it says its not compatible they are)

I love this chrome cast. It is a lot better than some of the other devices on the market. And It's compatible with all of the devices in my home.

Quality streaming even though I only have basic DSL. I also like the option of powering through tv's usb port. Heck I even like the box it came in. I couldn't be happier. Its only $35.

It's okay. The app drains your battery on your phone and it sucks that you have to have both connected to the WiFi. Definitely prefer appleTV

I love using Chromecast to stream shows from Netflix on my phone. The only thing I dislike about it is if you are watching a TV show, it does not automatically play the next episode.

Does what is says it's suppose to do for the laptop now they are still working on it. but it's not bad. Cuts off if your trying to do too much but overall great job as always google

Basically takes the place of of an HDMI cable I stream feeds of baseball or football to my tv ... Works great

This item was a great gift for my kids and friends. So far the people who received them as gifts from different family members are enjoying it..

I have been using my computer for years to stream movies and TV shows along with my ps3. I got this for my bedroom and it didn't impress me. I gave It 3 stars because of the price. I bought the Chrome cast for 20 bucks with best buy rewards points.. I watch basketball games on my computer 75 feet away from my wireless router just fine on my computer in my back yard,my bedroom is only 25 feet away. I will update when I get a new dual band wireless router.

Casting works great for the apps that are compatible but it would get 5 stars if it could cast everything on the tablet especially from the browser.

My wife and I bought this as a streaming device for our bedroom TV. It has worked flawlessly since removing it from the box. The setup was simple using the Chromecast IPhone app, and using the device to stream is extremely simple within the apps on your mobile phone/device. We have not had any of the connection issues mentioned in the negative reviews. I feel that the power cable was slightly short, but with some rearranging of my power strip I made it work. When streaming through the chromecast you still have full use of all functions of your mobile phone/device, and I haven't noticed any major additional drain on my phone battery while using it. It doesn't have as many options as the Apple TV (which we absolutely love) that we have in our living room, but it has done everything that we have asked of it so far. It has streamed like a dream with Netflix, HBO Go, and Youtube through our IPhones/IPads. The main thing I wish it did was mirror our phone/device like the apple TV (it says it can do this using a Chrome browser which we have not tried yet), but that is a sacrifice you often make when mixing manufacturers. I would also like to see support for streaming of videos/pics through the facebook app, but I assume that will come with time as there have already been apps that have become supported since we bought the Chromecast. All-in-all, it has been a great purchase that does what it says it will, and for the price it is MUCH cheaper than other streaming devices currently available, but at the cost some options/functionality of the higher priced devices. We plan on purchasing another for the TV in our office/home gym.

This device is very difficult to set up and use..not anything I can't do easier on ROKU and Apple TV

Really like the functionality for the price. A little lag on quick time video playback from my laptop, but otherwise REALLY like the Chromecast.

It seems to be a very temperamental piece of equipment. It works good sometimes & terrible the majority of the other times. Overall, it's ok.

As soon as I plug it into my HDTV I was controlling my TV and streaming my videos from my smartphone, my iPad and my laptop. I just love it! I would recommend this product to anyone.
