I bought this hoping to eliminate the roku, but I think it fell short of my expectations. I much prefer the channels available on a roku, but I get that this is different. I wish I had a remote that worked with it and not just my phone. I wanted to watch shows that I can only get on my computer and it works ok for that, but still has my laptop screen showing not just the show part. All in all it is ok, but my what I wanted.

It is not what I expected you need your phone to do everything I thought u just needed it as a remote not to run the apps on my phone

i am able to stream video services to bedroom television. don't need a game console or smart tv. just use ipad or phone and you are good to go. no messy connection wires

Chromecast is awesome. I enjoy the fact that it allows me the ability to cast whatever it is I want to from my laptop, desktop, or mobile devices onto my flatscreen TV.

Product was easy to install, not expensive , and I recieved good advise in the store from an employee, thank you. The instructions were simple and easy to understand.

I have 2 of these, putting me on the path to cut the cable cord. Turn any TV into a smart TV. Control the content on the TV from another room easily. Love this device.

This is a great way to view streaming media and share what's on my laptop with others - no more huddling around the laptop for everyone to see what we want to share.

This is a great product - helps broadcast anything on youtube and Netflix. But it would be nice if we could broadcast from more apps.

Used with 3 tv's and 4 tablets at the se time works great very clear no interference.

You do not need to buy expensive smart TV to enjoy what they provide. chromecast is very smart way of internet based entertainment

Works great. I found that unless the Chromecast is renamed to Living room it didn't work for me as well as a lot of people online.

When connected to VPN, your laptop cannot detect Chromecast Device and you cant play content but apart from that, this is a great device and excellent value for money.

I bought this for my husband for Christmas & we both love it so much we're going to get a second one for our TV upstairs.

It's easy to install but it can be glitchy at times. For the price best way to stream though...

Would be better if you could control from tv. I have to get up from bed to get to my desktop to pause and stop the show im watching.

The setup took awhile to figure out and downloading the app to control the device. All in all a great way to watch Netflix on any TV.

I ended up purchasing 3 for my home and me and the wife really enjoy them. I hope that it upgrades to more features in the future!

I felt like i wasted my money on this, it is very hard to get videos to connect to the tv.
