This is a great product and bought two. Didn't even know about this until my granddaughter requested one for Christmas

I am living in basement with 25mbps internet. I try to stream video on my google chrome and with chromecast then transfer the video on my tv. But that is not what i expected because I have the full browser on the tv. I thought I could have the "Youtube windows" on tv so that I can still work with my iMac at the same time. Not really help on multitasking tho. And the chromecast didnt stream fast as i thought tho.

I love this product! It was so easy to set up and allows me to avoide having to be a monthly fee to stream videos through my XBOX. I highly recommend this product!

Works great when it can find my device on the network. Not sure if it's a network problem or a Chrome problem but I still like it.

I wanted a capability to view internet streamed content on the televisions in hotels where I stay for business/vacation. The item works very well for that purpose.

We bought this and it didn't work. Not sure what the problem is but not worth the money.

It can play any video files on a desktop/laptop by using a Chromo browser, however, as of today, it could not play from tablet, other than using Netflix and Youtube.

I loved using it from my phone or computer. My son set it up for me and he liked so much I brought another for him for his birthday. He uses it for work and home.

Use this to cast my Samsung phones and tablets to our Samsung TV. Makes it a breeze and more and more apps are capable of casting every week.

So I Bought this for my dad, and he's enjoyed it, and everybody can use it so easily. Anybody That visits loves it and wants one!

Great device that streams clear depending on internet connection. Great buy for such a low cost. Used to have HDMI cables all over but this is much cleaner look.

This was easy to set up and easy to use. The price at best buy is very competitive.

Disappointed that so few programs can be cast to the tv, including almost no photo programs.

From the desktop it is usable on almost everything. On mobile(ipad, phone)only certain apps.

i have been using the Chrome Cast for one month and I have been able to watch pretty much anything except for Amazon instant video. We have really enjoyed it!

Got it for my parents not very user friendly; because so many of the apps listed on the chromecast homepage just didn't work

This works flawlessly with mu iPad and galaxy s2, as well as my laptop. As more apps are added, it will be an even better product.

Purchased this to stream my computer to my HDTV. Read really good reviews. Also wanted to use this during my travels to broadcast things from my iPad to a hotel TV. Would not work with my Netgear router. After trying everything, I looked online and found out there were issues getting this to work with this particular router. So, I held out hope that it would work during my travels. As I continued to read information on the Chromecast, I found out that you really need to be able to get to the router admin functions and making it work with hotels is virtually impossible. Returned the device as quickly as possible.

Small enough to hide behind the tv to watch quick previews out your phone on big screens.

Nice device, but lacks feature like iPad connection (only works with special apps). Got general device for occasional viewing.
