This a neat streaming device, not exactly what I was hoping for but it gets the job done!

I wanted a product that I could use to watch netflix on and this was the answer. It is small and portable which are also pluses.

Google is really trying to establish itself in the average individual's home and with products like this I think they can do it!

great practical invention for non cable users. phone apps would only cast certain content versus casting via a computer browser

Cool money saver Nice packaging interesting concept this is my second one. I would recommend this to people to stay in buying a smart TV. Avoid the expense.

Best speaker I've ever owned! It's beautiful and the sound is just incredible! Blows my Bose away for sure! I wouldn't hesitate to buy any Marshall product!

Works really well but there's a reason this was so cheap. I usually have issues every month where the chromecast won't "see" my phone and I'll have to reset the device. Or my phone will lose connection during a show and I won't be able to pause or skip things. Not having a controller for the unit is a big miss and I would gladly pay for one so I can untether my phone.

This is so much faster than most smart TV interfaces, and much more convenient if you have a phone or tablet. More apps are being supported all the time too!

I bought the chrome cast in order to be able to show my photos from Alaska. Ended up taking computer in twice for help, but to no avail, as the Best Buy personnel stated that they hadn't bought one, so they couldn't help me. They told me I couldn't show my own photos, they had to be from online. Really????? I still have no idea how to use chrome cast, except to watch Netflix. Wasted my money, I'm afraid.

This was a gift for our son at his rental house while in college. Very economical and totally useful for many applications. He is very pleased with the product.

As of right now, there are limited apps that can access Google Chrome streaming. Though they are some of the more important apps like Netflix, Hulu, and YouTube. You can also cast videos playable within the Chrome browser with a free plugin. Streaming can be slow depending on wifi connection. Overall, it's a good start with lots of potential, but Roku or Apple TV are still better bets, albeit more expensive.

was so excited about this product because of how it was promoted on TV. It was easy to set up and after some minor tinkering it was seen by my devices. I tried streaming video contents to it. It was good but after a few minutes the video was lagging behind the original and the screen even freezes while the sound continues. Tried another source but same thing happened. wanted to return this but lost the box.

I am kind of disappointed there are not more apps that can cast. Casting from Chrome is great, but quality is just ok at best.

What perfect way to spend rewards points if you're unsure if you want or need this. Do the research. Tons of apps. I'm beyond happy. Let's watch HBO go at work!

This product is great if you like to watch bootleg movies. Only draw back is that you can't hook it up to your surround sound.

Great idea, great cost, easy to set up. Was hoping that more sites were accessible to it.
