Chromecast works best on a computer with the plugin installed. The computer will stream all contents from the browser. IOS devices can only stream from certain apps, browser not included! The youtube app video quality is less than the Roku youtub channel though. Google Music (Play) is great if you have a music library stored there. Don't reallyneed this if you have a Roku3, but only for browser stream.

I have problems connecting to WIFI on my laptop when my daughter is using it on her TV connected to youtube with her iphone.

Dropped satellite dish and went with complete online viewing. This small gadget along with AppleTV has been super replacement. And saved over $100 per month.

Store only had this in stock, so i had to wing it. Poor signal, bought wifi extender and still cant get Netflix to work.

Product is really good for using with your phone for You Tube and Pandora and hoping to use it soon for Netflix. Would like to see more apps for this product.

Like being able to watch additional programming. However, there is some media on iPad/iPhone etc. that it is unable to play.

I love this!!! except I often have signal issues but other than that it's a great little piece of equipment for the money!

This is my first, but I think I will be buying more. I have a mac and a PC and can easily broadcast from either to Chrome.

Good product, met my expectations for a good streaming option. Would be nice if they had more "apps" similar to apple tv.

This is a great accessory for Chrome. It will "Chromecast" to the TV with no problems...except I wish it would work with whatever I was doing on my computer.

The best $35 I've ever spent I would recommend it to all my friends and family neighbors it works awesome on all my TVs computers smart phones and tablets

Obviously the sales person did not know anything about the product. As it turns out it is not compatible with the router which I also bought at best buy several months ago. The chrome cast is probably an ok product but there are so many other considerations before it can be used. To date it still does not work at our house.

I was in a debate between the apple TV the roku series & chrome cast, I didn't want to wait until payday to explore my options. It really was a best buy

I have had a few problems with the device. don't know whether it was the product or my TV, which is an LG 55" flatscreen.

I use it and save on my cable bills. It works on all my televisions both in the living room and the basement.

You need this thing. This allows me to stream from my phone to my TV in a few seconds. Awesome.

Not sure if it's an Apple issue or a google issue but I can't seem to cast from my iPad browser. Otherwise, it's great!!!
