Waited anxiously to get the Chromecast. I travel periodically for business so I thought that I might be able to use it when I travel. However, I don't have Netflix or some of the other services that are currently enabled. Others such as Amazon prime are not yet enabled. Once those go live, I would gladly raise my rating to 5 stars. Until then, only 3. If you use Netflix or Google movies, go for it.

wish this was like a amazon fire stick or a roku, but nope the device has to be in the area to cast to the TV, and sorry im not leaving my iphone home so someone can watch a movie. I think when i bought the item, i didnt understand fully how the device worked, but having to have a tablet or phone to cast the movie or whatever is dumb, just have the apps on the stick and be done with it.

This product does exactly what it says it does. I would definitely recommend to a friend. Great product!!!

What do I need to say. Easy. Handy. Inexpensive. Love that I don't need cords.

Good for streaming Netflix etc. Great for a bedroom not as good as apple tv or Roku.

This really makes it easy to watch Netflix on TV. We have one in the living room and my daughter wanted one for her bedroom too. Easy to install and use.

This is a great device. The only complain is that I cannot switch audio to my main device in order to plug headphones.

Really enjoy using chromecast. My husbands watches auto racing on his computer that is not carried by any network. Now, he can watch it on the big screen.

Works but requires a lilttle patience in setting up. Sucks that it doesnt have a remote like other streaming devices

Set up was not as easy as 1 2 3! Seems all these new gadgets take a lot more set up than anticipated. Eventually got it.

This works really well, but would be nicer if you could access from desktop as well as they are all on the same network.

Installed and reinstalled several times. Picture has a tendency to flicker and break and the sound goes in and out.

I would love to give this product a thumbs up, but can't as the advertisements suggested it could be easily used to stream movies from your own source (i.e. hard drive). Plugging in and setup to recognize the player was a piece of cake. Locating and playing any of my personal media files has been a joke. I have tried all the alternate "quick fix" approaches (loading the video from a Google Chrome page, etc) with no luck. I will soon contact the manufacturer for assistance, since as of now, the unit is nothing more than a pretty light connected to the back of my television. Companies should disclose more about the limitations of their product or at least prepare the customer for a challenging scenario.

This chromecast stick has been one big headache for me. It had a lot of bugs, please review this online before you waste your money on it. It does not work as described. Consistently knocks my WiFi offline and I have to reboot.Took it back to the store to return it but forgot to put one of the cords in the box when I returned it so now it just sits around collecting dust. Buyer Beware!

This product needs a better set up. It should be easy for those not familiar with new hardware standards. Additionally, there should be a remote control.

The Chromecast is a great tool. It is a convenient way for my children to watch Netflix without big, bulky equipment.

Remember don't put the chromecast near by the other wifi electronic systems. It will cause lag problems.

Before spending money in this, make sure you have a very high speed Internet connection. Otherwise, videos freeze up.
