I was skeptical buying this thing since it was only $35, but when I started streaming Netflix and youtube on my TV I loved it. Great product and value.

I bought my mom an Ipad a few years back. I thought maybe she'd be able to stream Netflix to a slightly larger screen.

bought this so my daughter could view her favorite korean dramas on a larger screen and had to go back and buy 2 more for other rooms in the house.

Couldn't get this unit to work. I was unable to open a web browser at a hotel in order to put in the SS ID number

Works only with chrome browser. Also a very limited video file types can be cast..

It works great, I love not having to hook up a s-video cable to the tv. Just plug in, install Chromecast on your computer and you are good to go!!!

Works perfect with my Galaxy S4 and with my desktop, let me watch Netflix in my bedroom TV without issues

It is nice to not have to plug the computer into the tv anytime I want to watch something from HBO Go, Netflix or Hulu.

For the price it is great for a road warrior, just be cautions to its limitations.

Took it with us to a condo on the beach and converted their TV into an easy way to stream from my tablet!

Great to listen to favorite music cast to TV from smartphone.... casting my chrome browser to this unit gives me a huge monitor for my internet work...

I have netflix, prime fire TV and now Chromecast. It does what they say and works on anything thats on your system.

Its a dongel which works to connect computer to TV wirelessly, it just works

Can't beat the price. Don't like that it doesn't support 5Ghz n wireless, but for the price can't complain. Wish the power cord was a little longer

the chromecast commercials shows you simply plugging the device into your television and enjoying anything on your computer or phone effortlessly. this couldnt be further from the truth. i bought this product not realizing how difficult it was to connect to my router. they dont show you that it has a power cord, they dont tell you youll spend 45 mins searching the internet help section trying to find a way to back door your name brand router to the device, and they certainly dont show you taking it back to the store to find out you arent the only one with this problem. thumbs down.

Ended up bringing this back. Didn't want to have to rely on my mobile device to stream the content. Prefer my Apple TV.

Better technology is available. The clerk recommended using this to make a standard tv smart. I was a poor patch.

With my TV (LG) I had to have it plugged into the 1st HDMI port for it to work. Otherwise, this is a great cheap add-on for any television & phone.
