I had this thing literally 3 feet (at most) from my (upgraded) wireless router and STILL I could not get a smooth image. I've seen how well other items like this work (Apple TV, Roku, Fire Stick, etc.) and I cannot express in words how disappointed I was with Chromecast...it's literally gathering dust right now in my desk drawer. SAVE YOUR $$$ AND DON'T BUY THIS!

Everyone should own one that don't own a smart TV or a wifi Blu ray player. Especially if you have an iPhone you would realize how great it is!
