Does the job, usually well. But sometimes 'casting' can be a bit perilous, takes several tries, etc.

My wife and I wondered what took us so long to get it. Too bad it doesn't come in a multi-pack with at least two Chromecast devices.

This a good device with a fair price that work very well, only needed a wi-fi connection. I recommend it to all TVs without internet.

No longer I use HDMI cables to connect to my TV. I simply cast web programs from chrome window or use Netflix app to cast it to my TV.

Documentation lacking, I had to experiment to get it to stream my video files. Only worked with netfix or you tube with the stock software. Had to add Avia to get it to work with avi files. Still need something more to be able to stream mkv. Or how about an update from chromecast? That would be good. Hardware itself is excellent, works great with my older TV.

It's a great product for the price. The only draw back is that you need a second device to run it.

Doesn't work well unless you have an established android Eco system. Still a minimal set of apps.
