This is not workings for what I need it too. I'm connecting it to tv to basically used tv as a big monitor. However, I can't see the mouse, so this might work good if you just want to stream movies but doesn't really work for connecting and using tv as a monitor.

This is great for those who have Netflix. If you don't, it isn't very useful. I was hoping to use it for Hulu Plus, but I don't have a smartphone or tablet that can use the app. Casting did not work well.

It was difficult to set the Chromecast up my computer. It only seems to work with a few apps like YouTube and Netfilx and a few others. I thought it said "watch what ever is on your computers screen" but that is not the case. Needs to have more viewing ability.

I was excited to get the Chromecast and found it easy to install. It worked for about 3 hours and then stopped and after many attempts I was unable to get it to work again. I tried all of the recommended fixes and decided to return it. Try something else.
