I returned it because the streaming was too slow in my home WiFi, maybe the problem was that my WiFi connection is too slow or it was the Chromecast!!!!.

Device has limited apps that can stream to tv. Has to be specific video types. Video breaks up. For the price justok

Great for connecting other mobile devices with your TV. Be forewarned that you must have wifi set up through your home; it won't connect to your phone network

Can only be used with wifi, nowhere on the box says that you must be able to receive wifi. Product is useless in areas where you cannot connect to wifi.

Cast is smooth from YouTube but other channels or live stream are very choppy and lag. How well it works for you depends on what you are trying to cast.

As long as you're streaming something from YouTube it works fine, because it streams it direct from the website and you just control it from your device. If you want to stream something from another website by casting your browser window to the TV, it doesn't work well at all. I had hoped it would work similarly to AirPlay on my AppleTV, but it does not. I returned the item for a refund.

thank god best buy has a great return policy , set up was easy . this unit is only good for Netflix and you tube. trying to stream off a web browser is hopeless .

I like the idea of being able to view stuff on my tv, but it's a bit limited in what is available app-wise. Hopefully they will continue to add more apps.

Overall the product is ok. After I figured out it wasn't what I was looking for I rarely use the product. I feel it was a waste of my money to be honest.

I was hoping that indie developers would be allowed to create apps for Chromecast so I could do more than just stream Netflix. So far, Google is making a point of shutting access to 3rd party apps. My guess (and general concensus) is that big media doesn't want it allowed so people must stream their content. I can't recommend this item unless this changes. Roku is still a better option.

I have been using this for a few weeks now. It does what it is suppose to but the software needs more work. It is a little buggy but has great potential.

I love it! Simple design easy to use. Works great so far. Only wish and hope more apps will work with this device

I, an Apple user, needed a way for guests to transmit stuff to our TV sets. The product worked as expected but was hard to set up on some Droid devices.

It does what it is suppose to do. Only thing that I didn't like was that it has to be connected to the electricity. Wireless would have been better.

A great idea in theory, but you have to really understand the fundamentals of how 'settings' works. No instructions and the web help isn't very helpful.

The idea of it is great but if only it would do what its intended to do. I've had a bit of problems with it. One minute it works great and I'm amazed by it then 5 minutes later it stops work, and it freezes. I have to restart the thing all the time it seems to only work for a bit before it messes up not sure if its just mine. This isn't as great as the made it out to be.

This is a easy and great tool to view Netflix or YouTube on TV but it needs some 3rd party support. I hope developers are creating apps for this product.

My husband wanted to use this to watch tv while he was on the treadmill. He wasn't able to get anything that he wanted to watch using Chomecast.

The price is right if you want a simple device that will do the basics.

I could not get this product to work at all. I immediately returned it and purchased a Apple TV instead and I have regrets with the Apple TV.
