I purchased this chromecast for my bedroom as I already have one for the living room. I have had no problems with my first one. For some reason the new one is having trouble connecting to Netflix and HBOgo. It's spotty on Netflix but doesn't work at all on HBOgo. I don't know if it's just my device or internet connection or what, but if it works for you then it's great.

I am not ready for this device yet. Its capabilities are not currently of my use. But for those who need those capabilities it is a great product.

I don't think this has the best signal, I have full bars of wifi but it still cuts out occasionally. Would be better if you had a wired connection.

Hangs too much, disconnects every 2-3 minutes, not good product if want to watch video from computer onto TV

Not all apps will connect. I need to reboot my iPad/ iPhone to connect. If I go frame one to the other.

For 35 dollars, it's a decent deal; however, there are very few apps that Chromecast can broadcast . Hopefully, there will be more in the future.

Video streaming quality is perfect. Device gets heated up very quickly i feel uncomfortable keeping the device attached to my TV if not used.

This piece only works well if you have good internet service with solid WiFi. If your network is weak, then Chromecast will not work to its best.

Not explained very well by the best buy sales. Bought it to look at pics and videos from my phone. Should have taken it back but son likes it.

Can only cast things from certain apps. Not sure why you can't cast from your gallery. Chrome browser doesn't have ability to cast from android.

I had planned on using my Surface 2 with this but since you can't load Chrome browser on the Surface, then it does not work with Chromecast.

So, So. Miracast is 1000 % better Since everything is running over wireless, even on my dual band n 5.0 GHz I cannot run the highest bit rate.

worst thing I ever got. Don't waste your money get the apple tv. Takes forever to connect with your device and sometimes it doesn't work.

I only wish it had Amazon. Otherwise, I think that it's nice. Good to be able to not have a big box sitting out just for internet streaming.

Already had a smart TV, so wanted this for playing videos from laptop. This function is very slow and jumpy, and the device got really hot.

While casting music or pics it works great but when casting video it actually lags and quality could be better.

Its sucks b/c they made you think that all you see on youd ipad u could see it on tv but its not true

We are one of the few people that can not get this hooked up. It will not work with our wifi. We will not give up. We will keep trying.

I thought I would be able to mirror my phone screen but you can only choose to send what apps have it available. Great idea but lacking.

The ChromeCast has potential but it is too limiting on Operating system, desk top streaming and there are too few apps currently available.
