This device is great for streaming video and your computer screen to your tv using chrome. It connects fairly quickly, and the video quality is very good, depending on your source. The price is just right, and it's very small, and can easily be taken with you anywhere. It doesn't have many extras like the Roku, Fire TV or Apple TV, but for the price point, it does it's job well. If you're looking for something to just stream contect from your computer, tablet, or cell phone, this is great. It's well worth the $30, and every so often, Google has special offers, like Play credits, free movies, and extended free trials of paid apps.

Wish I didn't have to cast to it from a different device, Roku stick is easier. The iPhone app is glitchy after my phone goes to sleep.

only online streaming, cant do it for all video on my pc or tablet.

If you have a smart TV, this product is useless. Not enough apps. Perfect if you dont have a smart tv.

It is great for the value but if you have a good connection it lags behind from the streaming source

I attempted to install it , but it took a long time and I gave up on it. I will try to install it later, when I have tine to play with it.

Works well on home Wifi. The reason I bought it was to use out of town in hotels. But it won't hook up to open wifis like at hotels.

It only works with my phone and not with any other device including laptop and tablet. Definitely is not as advertised. And the "help" section of the website... useless! So I googled for help and it seems that it doesn't really work for anyone else either. It's going back!

Just save some extra cash from grandma on your birthday and buy Apple TV, it's the second time to give the Google chrome a chance and I end up returning it, if the Apple TV is little bit expensive just remember a freezing cold day when u r already in bed, and u find the Apple TV remote beside you to start watching your favorite shows .

I purchased this product to use with my Samsung TV however sometimes it works well and others it will only show video and no audio.

It works with any TV you place it on.use the extension for better reception. I like putting Pandora on TV listening to music. Great.

It works ok for what we bought it for. It looses communication a lot the tv. It freezes a lot. A lot more than I the product is worth.

Not as easy as everyone says and not at all friendly to anything other than android. DOn't waste your time if you are an Apple family

I got it so that i wouldn't have to take my apple TV with me on vacation and i was not able to get the use out of it that i wanted, in order to stream my movies i had to use my laptop with Google chrome to play an MP4 file. Netflix never worked it always gave me an error, I ended up using my MacBook and iPad, I was only able to get YouTube to work. although it cost more, i will take the Apple TV over this Chrome cast.

I have an iPhone there is no way to go other than Apple TV device. Could not use screen mirroring as I can do on my Apple TV.

It works great for Netflix, but seems to have problems with Hulu. Really jumpy and not fun to watch. Other than that works great.

Horrible item..should have gotten my money when I had the chance. Didn't live up to the expectations. Couldn't view anything.

The Google chromecast is very good for playing vidios but is limited in other applications.

This thing works ok but is contrary at times. Sometimes it works and sometimes it doesn't. I love it when it's working correctly.
