I ordered mine and when I finally got it and I got it all setup, It didnt work! it was a DOA! I contacted bestbuy who didnt have any in stock. I then contacted Google and its now been a month and they barley shipped out my replacement yesterday. What a mess it has been. I wouldn't recommend google products to anyone based on the level of service I have received from Google. To top it off, I had to pay for my replacement until they receive my defective unit, then I get a refund. I also had to pay for shipping and its gonna be 5-10 days before I get the replacement. Oh and my three free months of free netflix is now going to be 2 months because I still dont have a working unit. Never again......

Chromcast took over my wifi connections

During the first weeks, it would play youtube movies via my android phone. On the phone itself, I had to install chromecast app for it to work. In the last two weeks, the chromecast device started confusing my laptop's wifi connection. So I could connect to my wifi, but not to the internet. It also sends a ton of data back to google on my viewing preferences. So it is one of those, or both, that is causing the problems. Today, after talking with a google representative who insisted there is a difference that I could care about between turning off a router or unplugging it, I found out google support doesn't add up to much. I hope to sell this piece of garbage as soon as I can.
